 GAMUDA WALK WEEKEND BAZAAR Rules & Regulations Procedures, Rules & Regulations 1. EVENT DETAILS : DATE : 25-­‐ 26 APRIL 2015 VENUE : First Floor, Gamuda Walk, Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam TIMES : 10:00am to 8:00pm Sellers are allowed to enter from 8:00am onwards to setup and shall not close the shop before 8pm. Sellers are to abide the timing of the weekend bazaar to maximize impact towards the crowd 2. HOW TO APPLY: To apply for a booth/table please head over to www.facebook.com/gamudawalk to view the layout and download the application file. Do remember that this is by first come first serve basis. Hence only forms that are completed and attached together with receipt of full payment by bank transfer will be considered as a successful application. The booth area allocated is 6ft x 6ft inclusive of 3ft x 6ft table, table cloth and 2 chairs. Kindly inform the organizer upon filling up the form if you have any additional rack to set up and/or any bulky items in order to not obstruct other tenant’s area. Request of power points will be charged an additional RM35 (2days) 4. RENT : RM80 per day for ONE day (Saturday OR Sunday) RM130 per two days (Saturday AND Sunday ) *Must be paid IN FULL to secure Seller’s preferred table numbers or otherwise the table will be released to another seller. We do not accept partial payments. PAYMENT TO BE MADE TO : VINOD JAYANANDAN -­‐ MAYBANK -­‐ 162227376786 You are to use ONLY the designated table, no exchanges or swaps with other Sellers without informing the organizer first. Please understand that the table locations may subject to change from time to time due to unavoidable circumstances OR may vary from those indicated on site layout plan. 5. PARKING : Parking at Gamuda Walk is FREE, for now. You can park your vehicle at “Basement 1” or B1, next to the lift lobby and take the lift to the First Floor OR you can use the main entrance of the mall and use the escalator next to Nando’s Restaurant. P.S. Gamuda Walk's parking T&Cs will apply. 6. SECURITY : The Gamuda Walk Weekend Bazaar at Gamuda Walk is located at a public area, as Sellers, you are responsible for all your belongings. Please ensure that they are kept securely. Gamuda Walk Weekend Bazaar Organizer will not be held responsible for any losses or any untoward incidents. 7. NO SUB-­‐LETTING: Booth/Table space may NOT be given, transferred or re-­‐sold by the original Seller to another Seller without prior written consent from the Organizer. 8. CANCELLATIONS : You may cancel your table booking but table rental refund will be based on the following schedule : •
7 days before the event: 100% Refund •
Less than 5 Days before the event: No Refund 9. NO SHOW : If original Seller fails to turn up on the opening day by 12:00pm on the event day, it will be considered as a “no show” and the Organizer may release the table to another Seller. The table rent paid will NOT BE REFUNDED. 10. PROHIBITED ITEMS : Sellers are NOT ALLOWED to sell/ display/ swap the following items at the GW Weekend Bazaar at any time; when in doubt please contact us : •
Food and beverage items (alcohol, water, soda, sandwiches, ice cream, candy or the likes), our permit currently DOES NOT cover food and food related items. •
Drugs and alcohol •
Live animals •
Firearms, ammunition or their replicas •
Fireworks and explosives •
Offensive, vulgar or pornographic materials of any kind •
Any other items that are deemed as illegal under the Malaysian Law 11. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES : The following activities are not allowed at GW Weekend Bazaar : •
The use of loud speakers or public address systems or shouting / loud music. •
Cooking or re-­‐heating of food is NOT allowed. Our permit DOES NOT cover food items. •
Auctions 12. GARBAGE : Sellers are responsible for cleaning up of their booth areas and must remove all of their own garbage and litter. Dustbins will be provided for your convenience, but please do not dump bulky items (e.g. large cardboard boxes) on top and around the dustbins. There are designated areas for bulky item disposals. 13. DRESS CODE : Casual, we feel Smart Casual may be better. After all, first impressions counts! 14. CHILDREN : Sellers are responsible for their children. They should be kept under adult supervision at all times. You are reminded that the mall is a public area and advised to take all necessary precautions. GW Weekend Bazaar organizers will not be held responsible for any losses, mishaps or any untoward incidents. 15. DUE CARE : Sellers acknowledge, understand and accept that the premises belong to Gamuda Walk Retail Center and that Sellers must exercise due care so as not to damage any of Gamuda Walk’s property at all times. Sellers will be held liable for damages caused to the building, fixtures and facilities. 16. RISKS : Sellers agrees and accept that he/she will be participating in the Gamuda Walk Weekend Bazaar at his/her own will. Neither Organizer nor Gamuda Walk Retail Center , assumes any responsibility to insure the safety or to protect the Seller, its properties and merchandise from personal injury, loss or damage caused by fire, rain, theft, malicious mischief, accident or any other cause. 17. Sellers are not to leave behind unsold merchandise at the end of the event. 18. Sellers to ensure the table areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. 19. GW Weekend Bazaar Organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel the event without compensation and eliminate any items from sale or swap, or the manner in which it is displayed at any time. 19. GW Weekend Bazaar Organizer’s reserves the right to withhold table rental and participation in the bazaar at anytime from those it decides to be in conflict with the market's rules and regulations or Gamuda Walk Retail Center rules, if applicable OR are detrimental to the market. 20.
