BWF SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Each year the Baptist Women’s Fellowship provides several scholarship awards to graduating
seniors and students already enrolled in a degree program. In addition to the scholarship grants
that have been provided by individual church members, the BWF has its own award program,
which is dependent upon donations from the membership at large. Checks are payable to
“Baptist Women’s Fellowship Scholarship Fund.” The enclosed “Scholarship” envelope is for
your consideration and may be mailed, dropped in the offering plate, or brought to the church
office. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU!
STONE SOUP was a wonderful success this year on so many levels! If you participated at any
point during the past 3 months, you were part of that success. Your generous donations of time,
energy and effort, as well as your financial contributions, enabled us to provide an average of 70
lunches each Tuesday during January, February and March. An extra special note of gratitude
goes to all of you who planned, shopped, chopped, grated, cooked, stirred, served, decorated and
cleaned up! Once expenses were paid, we were able to give the proceeds of over $2000 to The
Upper Valley Haven, in White River Junction. CONGRATULATIONS!

CLASSROOM CLIPBOARD
Easter Sunday
All Sunday School classes will be offered today. (see below).
Our Meetinghouse Easter Egg Hunt will be held following the classes.
Pre – K/K Winnie’s Classroom - Miss Pam will be celebrating the Good
News of Jesus and Easter morning with the preschoolers. We have a special Easter craft and an
Easter Egg Hunt scheduled.
Elementary Grades 1 – 5 Breakfast on the Beach - The Blue Room - Palm Sunday was pretty
special around First Baptist Church! Thanks to all the parents who brought their kids at 9:45 for
the Palm Procession around the Sanctuary at the end of the 9:00 service. The folks at that service
said what a smile it brought to their faces seeing our Sunday Schoolers marching around with the
palms. We then took some of our palm fronds upstairs to make beautiful palm crosses, under the
direction of Jan Reney. Thanks to Carole and Dave Wood, we had an awesome Science Station
where we learned more about fishermen, and even tried our hand at knotting some real nets,
which are now up on our boat display. Go up and take a look!
We're very excited about the great variety of crafts and activities lined up for Easter morning!
We'll end our Sunday School time with an egg hunt in the sanctuary. Bring a friend or two to
join in our celebration of the Risen Lord!
Grades 6 & 7 - Come GRAPPLE with us! - Upper Youth Room
(Classroom Clipboard continued)
Grades 8 - 12 OFF THE GROUNDS at Hole in the Fence Café - All teens are invited to join
Bill this week at 10:00 this morning at Hole in the Fence Café. This Off the Grounds classroom
is designed for our youth to hang together, to discuss their world and their faith, to ask questions
and share what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Coffee, mocha, cocoa and baked goods are a
given!!
Coffee with Seekers Adult Class - Downstairs Activity Room - In a type of class that harkens
back to last year when we asked some of the most basic questions of the Christian faith (e.g.
What does it mean to be saved? Why is it important to read the Bible? Should FBC really be
concerned with how they did church twenty centuries ago in a distant culture?), Consider today’s
question: What is so significant about Jesus’ empty tomb?
Please grab a cup of coffee and join us downstairs. All are welcome.
