RAN BEN-ATTIA of the Nahal Brigade’s HQ, was gravely wounded during Operation Protective Edge, in the Gaza Strip, by a sniper’s bullet that pierced his hand and thigh, ultimately lodging in his back. Following lifesaving surgeries, he was released from the hospital and began his ongoing rehabilitation at Beit Halochem (House of Warriors). Beit Halochem provides services to more than 50,000 men and women who have sacrificed for Israel. At our centers in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva and Haifa, disabled veterans receive the support they need to regain their self-confidence, strength, dignity and control of their lives.
