OTC FOU N D A TION S - Ozarks Technical Community College

The OTC Foundation Scholarships are made possible by donations from generous families and
organizations. Each scholarship is unique and students must meet criteria as defined by the donor.
All OTC Foundation Scholarship applicants must demonstrate financial need.
All OTC Foundation Scholarships are contingent upon funds available. Other forms of financial
aid may affect an OTC Foundation Scholarship.
ASA Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be pursuing an automotive degree.
Bob Grand Scholarship
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 and be enrolled in the Respiratory Therapy Program.
Bob & Susan Beine Scholarship
Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 and be a resident of Christian or Greene County.
Carol Jones Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be female. Priority will be given to women recovering
from domestic violence.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Charles Banta Sr. Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled in the Culinary or Hospitality Management
program.
Charlie & MaryBeth O’Reilly Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Christian County Elks Lodge 2777
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have already completed 12 hours. Applicants must be a
graduate of a Christian County high school, attending the Richwood Valley Campus. If applicant is enrolled
in either a technical or Allied Health program only offered at the Springfield Campus, he/she may be
eligible if he/she is also taking courses at Richwood Valley. Applicant can not be receiving A+ or the Pell
Grant.
Christian County Master Gardener Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled in the Agriculture or Turf & Landscape
Management Program, having already successfully completed 20 hours in specified program. If selected, the
recipient must attend the Christian County Master Gardener's meeting in January to be recognized by the
membership and attend the CCMG Project Fair held at the meeting.
CoxHealth Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicant must be a spouse, natural or legally adopted child;
or step child, who has lived as a minor with the employee's immediate family for one or more years in a
parent-child relationship and was claimed by the employee at CoxHealth Systems as a dependent for federal
income taxes. Student may be full-time or part-time and enrolled in one of the following programs, or in a
pre-allied health program with intent to enroll in one of the following programs: Emergency Medical
Technician (Basic and Paramedic), Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational Therapy Assistant,
Physical Therapist Assistant, Associate of Science in Nursing, Practical Nursing, Respiratory Therapist,
Surgical Technology or Health Information Technology. Preference will be given to applicants who have
participated as a community volunteer in a health related area or with a health related organization such as:
hospitals, clinics, nursing homes or agencies (Heart, Diabetes or Cancer Societies, etc.).
Dean Lewis Scholarship, Anna Mae Lewis Scholarship and David Dean Lewis Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in the Culinary Arts, Hospitality
Management, Diesel Technology, Heating, Refrigeration and A/C, Industrial Control and Automation
Technology, Turf and Landscaping or Business Management Program. Preference is given to applicants
from Taney County, Second preference given to applicants in the surrounding counties of Stone, Christian,
Douglas or Ozark. Third preference will be given to residents of Southwest Missouri.
Dental Programs Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in a Dental Program at OTC. This
scholarship award is only available for the spring semester.
Enactus Scholarship
Applicants must be an active member of the OTC Enactus team and be seeking an Associate's degree at OTC.
Applicant must be registered as an official USA Enactus student member, complete a minimum of 100 hours of service
through participation in OTC Enactus activities, submit a time sheet to the OTC Enactus office for review, as well as
any supporting documentation such as completed Enactus project reports. Applicants must demonstrate leadership
qualities.
Frank Shepard Study Abroad Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be registered to participate in the OTC Study Abroad program.
Applicant must have successfully completed at least 12 credit hours at OTC.
Gravelle & Harris Scholarship-Community Foundation of the Ozarks
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, rank in the upper 50th percentile of their high school graduating class
and be a high school graduate of Springfield, Missouri. Applicant must be seeking a certificate or Associate of Applied
Science degree in either a technical, business, or allied health program. Application should include 300-500 word essay
explaining the student’s interest in their program and future plans upon completion of coursework.
Hartmann Foundation Construction Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled in the Construction Readiness or Construction
Technology Program.
Integrity Home Care Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must have graduated from a school in Christian Country and
be attending the Richwood Valley Campus.
J.E. (Ed) Jenkins Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program.
J.J.B Craftsmanship Scholarship
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in a technical degree program. Preference is given to
students returning to and/or transferring to OTC.
Jarred Welch Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5 or college GPA of 2.75, be a senior or past graduate of
Cassville High School and enrolling as a full-time student.
Jerald Powers Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and seeking an Associate of Arts
degree. Applicants must submit two letters of reference. Priority given to students enrolled in the Honors Program.
Second priority is given to students seeking an A.A. with emphasis in Business.
Larson Family Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Lee Cruse Charitable Trust
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75, be enrolled in at least 12 hours and be a graduate of a high school in
OTC's taxing district. Applicant must include an essay detailing leadership experience, financial need, and career goals.
Lelia Heuer Charitable Trust
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, and be seeking an Associate
Degree or Certificate at OTC. Priority will be given to applicants who are pursuing programs in the allied health field
or those who live in Laclede or Howell County.
Marti Speckman Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
Matt McKinsey Memorial Scholarship for Students with Special Needs
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrate cognitive difficulties.
Mercy Springfield Communities Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicant must be a spouse, natural or legally adopted child; or step
child, who has lived as a minor with the employee's immediate family for one or more years in a parent-child relationship and was claimed by the employee at Mercy Springfield Communities as a dependent for federal income taxes. Student may be full-time or part-time and enrolled in one of the following programs, or in a pre-allied health program with

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, and be seeking an Associate of

O’Reilly Family Foundation Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be pursuing an automotive degree.
OTC Foundation Golf Tournament Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and live within the OTC service area.
Ozarks Antique Auto Club Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be pursuing an automotive degree.
Parkcrest Dental Group Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled in the Dental Program at OTC and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Ralph and Helen Ramsey Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled as a Construction Technology and/or Drafting and Design
student.
Reliable BMW / Audi Springfield Automotive Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in the Automotive Technology, Auto Collision Repair
Technology or Diesel Technology Program. Priority is given to students employed at Reliable Toyota Lexus Scion or
BMW/Audi Springfield.
Reliable Toyota Lexus Scion Automotive Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in the Automotive Technology ,Auto Collision Repair
Technology or Diesel Technology Program. Priority is given to students employed at Reliable Toyota Lexus Scion or
BMW/Audi Springfield.
Rick and Karen Hughlett Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled in either the Automotive Technology, Auto Collision
Repair, or Diesel Technology Program. Priority will be given to applicants pursuing to work in, or own an independent
shop.
Robert and Frances Keever Trust
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must be a native and/or long-term resident (at least six
years) of one of the following counties: Barry, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Polk, Stone, Taney or Webster. Priority
will be given to applicants enrolled in a technical and/or allied health program.
Rods & Relics Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled as an automotive student.
Roy W. Slusher Foundation
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and be seeking an Associate Degree or Certificate at OTC. Priority will be given to applicants who live in Taney County (preferably Forsyth).
Russell “Kelly” Campbell Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled in the Networking Technology AAS degree and must have completed NET-102 with an
“A” average.
Sam F. and June S. Hamra Scholarship
Applicant must be have a minimum GPA of 2.0, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and be enrolled in the Culinary
or Hospitality Management program.
Shady Inn Scholarship
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and be enrolled in the Culinary or
Hospitality Management Program.
Smith Glynn Callaway-Associate of Nursing Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled and accepted into the Associate of Nursing program.
Smith Glynn Callaway-Medical Lab Technician Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled and accepted into the Medical Lab Technician Program.
Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be pursuing a drafting, machine technology or welding degree. Applicants must be a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
Staff Association Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours or provide a
statement of explanation of circumstances as to why they are part-time. Applicants must provide a 300-500 word written statement of education objectives and financial need. Priority is given to students pursuing a degree in Business
Technology or related field.
Transport Training Institute Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled as Transport Training Institute student.
Trustees Scholarship
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and live within the OTC district.
Turner Family Foundation
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must be seeking an Associate Degree or Certificate at OTC.
Priority will be given to current and/or past Mansfield High School graduates. Second priority will be given to Wright
County High School graduates. Third priority will be given to Missouri High School/GED graduates.
William N. Bunselmeyer Memorial Scholarship
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be enrolled in the Heating, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning (HRA)
program.

All information must be submitted or postmarked by July 15 for the fall semester and November 15 for the
spring semester.

All scholarship award notifications will be sent to your OTC student email.
Scholarship awards are nontransferable and may affect eligibility for other financial assistance.
Foundation scholarships are not renewable, therefore you must reapply each year.
