student ACP resistance riders
will be coming to Nelson!
Ride with us from Sherando
Lake, join us on the way, or
just meet us at the Acorn Inn
for a community potluck to
share your story of resistance
and celebrate the community
power we have built so far.
Who: Virginia college students, Friends of Nelson, Free Nelson, and YOU!
What: Escort Virginia student ACP resistance riders through Nelson by bicycle and join us
for a community potluck to share your story of resistance or just celebrate the community
power we have built so far.
Where & When: The ride will begin at Sherando Lake at 2:00pm on Monday, May 11th,
overnight at the Acorn Inn, and continue to Yogaville on the 12th. Route details can be found

11th at Acorn Inn, 2256 Adial Road. Please bring instruments and a side to share! Email

Why: From May 9–19, the Virginia Student Environmental Coalition is cycling across Virginia
following the proposed path of the ACP to amplify the voices of Virginia communities and landowners directly impacted by the ACP and demonstrate a unified student movement against
