I want to trust Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, but don’t
understand how. I need someone to help me.
I have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and desire New
Testament baptism.
I have previously received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The
Church I joined did not practice New Testament baptism, so I
want to be baptized and join Grace Baptist Church.
I am a member of another Baptist Church and want to join
Grace Baptist on a promise of letter from that Church.
I have previously received Christ and was baptized into a Church
by New Testament baptism, however, the record of my Church
membership is unavailable, or I have been a member of another
denomination and wish to return to a Baptist Church.
If none of the above are an expression of your desire,
you may schedule an appointment with
Pastor Hilley or a Staff Member
by calling the Church Office at 706-868-9729.

From Your Pastor
March 29, 2015
Dear Grace Family and Friends,
I'm writing well in advance of today as Leila and I have been at the
Timothy Barnabas Pastor's Conference this week. It's one of the
highlights of our year. It's a great time of encouragement. Pastor
Johnny Hunt leads the Conference, and his passion is encouraging
Pastors. I've been guilty of underestimating the value of encouragement
throughout most of my adult life. Having now faced quite a few
struggles in life and ministry, I have found that few things are as
meaningful. Knowing that someone cares is important. Knowing that
those who care also "believe in you" is icing on the cake. How much
might Jesus have been encouraged during those final hours of His
earthly life if His disciples had been there for Him? I realize He wasn't
surprised by the events that unfolded. He had known from eternity past
exactly what would transpire and was "up to the task." Yet His humanity
no doubt craved "moral support," and there was none. We can't do a
thing about that. But we can be a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear
to those in our circle of friends and sphere of influence. Many in the
Grace Baptist family are facing great hardships and trials. Do we really
care? And while I think most can honestly say, "We do," it's easy to stay
so bogged down in our personal struggles that we do nothing about it. It
takes a huge step of faith to give our cares over to The Lord so that we
can be used to care for others. But we're called to be like Jesus and
that's exactly what He did. We can't fix the impossible circumstances
our brothers and sisters in Christ are facing but we can come along
side and help to bear their burden. We just need to make ourselves
available. Will we? If so, we may change someone's life forever without
ever realizing it. But without a doubt, we will make their load easier to
carry. And that's worth the effort; don't you think? I love you and am
honored to be your Pastor. God Bless You!
Changing our world by loving God & loving each other!
