Dear Vendor;
The 25th annual Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance welcomes your
application to participate as a craft vendor at this year’s festival, to take place July 16, 17, 18
& 19, 2015.
In an effort to streamline the application process (and decrease our carbon footprint!) we
are pleased to announce that the application process is now entirely online. We will no
longer be accepting slides, photographs, cds or paper mail applications of any kind.
The craft section includes 26 vendor spots, and is renowned for its emphasis on high
quality, handmade, original work ranging from jewelry, fiber arts, musical instruments,
candles, glass art, printmaking, pottery, natural skincare products, and more. A word of
advice: your application is the only information the jury has of you and your work, so your
presentation is crucial. Make sure to offer coherent descriptions of your product and to
include images that portray your work in the best possible light in order to provide us with a
true sense of what you will be vending. Originality and quality of execution are serious factors
in the selection process. Note that it is a requirement that all work produced or sold at
GrassRoots must be made by the vendor. (Retail vendors will not be considered for booth
space.)
The application form is found at the following URL: http://goo.gl/forms/jFyZ0SN3Q3
The deadline to apply is March 20, 2015. The jury will convene in early April. Notifications
will be sent out by May 1st.
We look forward to receiving your application!
