PTA Newsletter
Welcome to the PTA!
Newsletter - March 2015
A Letter from our PTA President:
We need to select a committee to search for
PTA Board leaders for the 2015- 2016 year,
starting in July and elected in May 2015. The
current terms end on June 30.
We cannot do it without you. I would like to reinforce and build continuity, so we will have an
advantage as a school and community led by
the GMS PTA.
We need an executive committee to seek out a
PTA President, PTA Vice President, PTA
Treasurer and PTA Secretary. Training is provided. Smile! No worries! Just be prepared to
dedicate your time and diligent effort.
Also, it is important that we establish committees for next year as well.

Letter , cont'd from p.1:
Important dates to remember
Another important and critical point is that
we also need to develop and apply for
grants to be ready for the next academic
year to support and fund sports, dances,
after-school enrichment, and other
extracurricular activities like field trips,
music and STEM.
Let's build a legacy for our children. This
board and its supporting committees have
laid the foundation to build and do greater
things.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
