"Every three minutes a new customer opens an account at Boursorama. The record growth in the number of customers and the strong growth in credit and life insurance show the effectiveness of our online banking model, with a wide range of products and highly competitive prices: we are the least expensive bank1 in France," said Marie Cheval, Boursorama CEO. France Credit: €3 billion in outstanding loans Strong growth in mortgage loans: production increased by 35% compared with the first quarter of 2014, and outstanding loans increased by 17%. In addition to a favourable market environment and Boursorama’s very competitive positioning, this success is due to a simple and innovative range of products: 100% online sign-up process, electronic signature for borrower insurance, online access to accounts and real-time monitoring, immediate pre-approval response, alternative proposals to that initially requested, with optimisation of the duration and the amount of the loan according to personal down payment and repayment ability, etc. Personal loans also posted strong growth as production tripled. These contracts are fully available online thanks to the electronic signature facility. A new Boursorama customer every three minutes With 40,796 new customers in the first quarter of 2015, Boursorama had 645,925 customers at end-March 2015, in line with its target of 750,000 customers in France by end-2015. Customer deposits increased by nearly 20%. The majority of the new customers are in their 30s, work at management level, and live in urban areas. Continuation of the innovation strategy With the acquisition of FinTech Fiduceo, a French specialist in online Personal Finance Management solutions, Boursorama will further strengthen its budget management product line. Still the least expensive bank In January 2015, Boursorama was once again named the "least expensive bank". Customers with a current account paid, on average, €14 in banking charges in 2014 and 60% of them paid nothing. They therefore make substantial savings each year: the average annual banking charges in France are €2022. A total of 92% of customers recommend Boursorama Banque3. Online brokerage: In a context of rising stock market indices (CAC 40: +17.8%, DAX 30: +22.0%, IBEX 35: +12.1%), Boursorama Group recorded sharp growth (+22%) in the number of market orders executed in the first quarter of 2015.
