GSMST students will then board another bus to be transported to the GSMST Campus. P.M. Students will board a bus in the afternoons to their home zone middle school and from there will board their bus home. Strictly speaking, this breaks down into a single one-hour meeting, on each of five days per week for a total of 24 weeks per year. • Each one semester course = 0.5 Carnegie Unit Students earn 23 Carnegie Units in a traditional high school GSMST: Students will earn at least 26 Carnegie Units • but more likely 30 • Students have graduated with 33 – 35 Carnegie Units What to accept if attending GSMST? ACCEPT • • • • • Spanish I and or II Foundations of Engineering Physical Science Health and PE over the summer Only accept Accelerated Algebra IF scores are 95 or above in the class and on the final exam. DO NOT ACCEPT • Algebra I • 9th grade language arts (We block LA and Chemistry) • French: We do not offer this language so accepting this credit will not move you to French II in our school.
