Summer Session A, 2015 GLY 6739, Section 003 CRN 55802 3 Credits 5-7 PM Tuesday and Thursday Advanced Visualization Center, CMC 147 The primary goal of this course is for the student, in close collaboration with their advisor, to complete a full proposal that is ready for submission to a Federal agency (e.g. NSF, NIH, NASA, DOE) within the year. This course is by permit only. It is mandatory that the student, before attending this class, have a focused topic responsive to an upcoming Request for Proposals deadline, and a faculty advisor willing to support/assist this effort. The participant’s faculty advisor must be willing to: • Assist the student in developing a project based on testable • • hypotheses; Provide feedback at various points in the proposal-writing process to help the student develop a strong proposal, and; Attend and play a role in the final panel reviews that are part of the course.
