Valley Bore
Drilled August 2003. Depth 262ft, water level 117ft. Equipped with 600 Watt solar system
pumping to 20,000gal galvanised pioneer tank servicing 2 watering squares, 1 concrete trough.
Native Dog Bore #1
Drilled March 2002. Depth 190ft, water level 150ft (T.D.S.2700). Equipped with Yanmar 3
cylinder diesel generator on a 24 hour timer & submersible, pumping to 20,000gal galvanised
pioneer tank servicing 4 watering squares. Also pumps 5.2km back to homestead 20,000gal
galvanised pioneer tank via 63mm poly pipe line, as well as 20,000gal galvanised pioneer tank
at Native Dog # 2
Native Dog Bore # 2
Drilled August 2003. Depth 183ft, water level 116ft ( T.D.S 3780). Equipped with 6.5KVA
Kubota diesel Genset with 2.5kw Grunfos pump, pumping to 20,000gal galvanised pioneer
tank, servicing 3 concrete troughs.
Gum Swamp Bore
Drilled January 2003. Depth 170ft, water level 134ft, equipped with 1200 Watt solar system
pumping to 20,000gal galvanised pioneer tank, servicing 2 watering squares.
Versary Bore
Drilled May 2005. Depth 197ft, water level 119ft (T.D.S 1450). Equipped with 600 Watt solar
system pumping to 20,000gal galvanised pioneer tank, servicing 2 concrete troughs.
Formile Bore
Drilled May 2002. Depth 170ft, water level 109ft (T.D.S 2700). Equipped with 1200 Watt solar
system pumping to 10,000gal galvanised pioneer tank, servicing 1 concrete trough and
2 watering squares.
Emu Bore
Drilled October 2004. Depth 183ft, water level 105ft (T.D.S 1600). Equipped with 5KVA Honda
Genset pumping to 20,000gal galvanised pioneer tank, servicing 2 troughs.
Desperate Bore
Drilled May 2005. Depth 170ft, water level 91ft (T.D.S 1120). Supply 800gph. NOT EQUIPPED.
Ned's Pet Bore
Drilled October 2004. Depth 270ft, water level 94ft (T.D.S 310). Supply 3000gph. NOT EQUIPPED.

All poly lines are 2 inches except suction at dams are 1.5 inches & 63mm line from Native Dog # 1 to Homestead.

STOCKYARDS
The Broadleigh Downs stockyards are of steel & cable construction incorporating an undercover
6 way pound draft, balance of large covered working area incorporates calf race &
Morressey branding cradle, a Black River cattle crush & a Black River weigh box with 3 way draft.
Seven yards have access to water troughs in the stockyard. There are also holding pens leading to
the loading ramp.
FENCING
Broadleigh Downs is subdivided into 8 grazing and 5 holding paddocks as well as an extensive internal
laneway system. Boundary 3 & 4 barb and 2 barb, 1 plain on steel and wood posts.
Internal predominately 3 barb on steel posts with steel corners and gateways.
Small paddocks around homestead incorporate electric fencing.

REMARKS
Broadleigh Downs affords a good mix of downs, forest & scrub country. Well set up
with an extensive internal laneway system & control of waters for ease of
management, mustering & livestock handling. 80 years of ownership by the
