ilzohook - two become one!
ilzohook – the alternative for corrugated metal sheet roof
Following the success of our mounting system ilzoclip for trapezoidal sheet and to satisfy the demand for a reasonable price
we developed the new and innovative mounting system ilzohook.
Consistent simplification without waiving constructive advantages has been the target we reached. Furthermore the ilzohook
allows mounting on the usual fastening points of the modules
(fifth points). Each module is always screwed with two of the twopiece ilzohooks on two parallel raised beads. ilzohook is covered
by extensive industrial property rights.
ilzohook – everything remains easy
We managed to adapt the basic idea of a clampless installation
from our flat roof support systems to a trapezoidal sheet installation system. Core element is the two-part ilzohook. The ilzohook
can be divided, so on the upper and lower edges of the Module
array only half of the ilzohook is required. The benefit of cost saving is supplemented by the easy later disassembly of modules at
each point in the array. The ilzohook is fixed on corrugated metal
sheet roofs with a pre-assembled sealing pad. By using special
thin sheet tapping screws we provide a chip-free mounting and
additionally the material displacement of the trapezoidal metal
sheet generates higher extraction values.
ilzohook – one for all
lzohook combines everything you need for a quick and economic
assembly in one device. In contrast to other mounting systems
for corrugated metal sheet roofs ilzohook can be used for all panel
heights. So only one type of product is in your stock – easy to control and good for the cost.
ilzohook – simply faster
We paid special attention to the mounting speed of our new product ilzohook – as in the case of ilzoeasy and ilzowave and the
roof parallel mounting systems ilzoclip T and S. The basic principle of a clampless „hook in“ installation and the consequent part
reduction are keys for shortest installation times.

ilzohook – fast und flexible mounting
On corrugated metal sheet roofs ilzohook offers an outstanding
fast installation with only one component. By using a cord the
first row of ilzohooks can be adjusted and fixed along the ridge.
Then the modules get hinged on the ilzohook like a picture frame
on hooks. All further ilzohook rows can be easily aligned to the
already installed modules. The defined cross clearance between
module and ilzohook enables an easy and tensionless installation
especially on uneven surfaces. Neither linear thermal extension
add up in the array. For this reason even big PV-arrays can be
done without any service corridor in best workmanship. The sophisticated design of the system makes it adaptable to almost
every installation challenge. With our high-grade combination of
materials the outcome is the ideal design. Always two pairs of
ilzohook-sets are needed for one module. The modular system is
also very flexible during and after the installation process. Single
modules can be removed and reintegrated even later on each
point of the array.
ilzohook – aerodynamics that stabilise
With strong winds a fast moving airstream across the expanded
horizontal slot between the module rows induces defined pressure compensation among the upper and lower side of the modules.
Wind tunnel testing reports of I.F.I., the renowned institute for industrial aerodynamics at Aachen, Germany, proved best results for
all ilzosurf systems even at peripheral zones on flat roofs - zones
which our competitors don’t even consider to cover with modules.
A dedicated wind-modeling tool has been developed
based on these test data at I.F.I.. We use it
to determine the ideal perimeter
ballasting for every project
and to guarantee
two-piece ilzohook for easy demounting
safe operation (ilzoclip on system rail). Ilzosurf has developed a
modular ballasting stone system to simplify assembly and system
approval by local authorities. An individual mounting- and ballasting diagram shows where the loading stones have to be placed
on the base rails.
