Enrollment Contract
Upon enrollment, I agree to review and abide by all contract and handbook
policies including those found in the handbook that are not listed on this contract.
I understand that failure to abide by these rules will result in the dismissal of my
child from Iqra Academy.
Tuition
Tuition for each child attending Iqra Academy during the 2015-2016 academic year may be paid in one payment before
school begins (at a 10% discount) or in 10 monthly installments. A 20% discount is provided for additional children from
the same family. Please note that a full payment is due each month, even though school ends in mid-June (the annual tuition
is divided into 10 equal payments). All monthly tuition payments are due on the first of the month. Failure to make a
prompt payment will result in late fees and may lead to possible suspension, expulsion, or legal action.

A $35.00 late charge will be added if payment is not made by the 7th of each month. A $45.00 penalty is applied
to all returned checks.

Student will be indefinitely suspended if tuition payment is not made by the last day of each month; and student
may not attend school until full payment has been made.

The student will not be admitted to the school if there is outstanding tuition delinquency from a previous
semester or academic year. Before being readmitted, the student must clear one hundred percent of the balance.
In addition, school will refuse to release academic records, transcripts and teacher references to other schools, or
will not permit the child to attend, re-enroll, or move to a different level.

If a family withdraws their child from Iqra for a temporary period of time within the academic school year,
including the last 2-3 weeks, the parents remain responsible for tuition payments during that time period.
Fees

It is necessary to rent the prescribed textbooks and workbooks from Iqra Academy. The yearly textbook and
materials fee (non-refundable) will be based upon the student’s grade level, $125 for Pre-K students and $275 for
Kindergarten and older students. The textbook fees are due by the first day of the school year. Please encourage
your child to develop a sense of responsibility in the care and handling of books, materials, and other school
equipment and supplies. At the end of each semester, fines may be assessed for loss or damage.

Activity fee for PK is $ 75.00 and for KG – 5th Grade is $ 100.00 annually. These fees will cover the costs of all
field trips, art competition, science fair, activity day, etc.

Extended Hours are available upon request before and after school hours. If you plan for your child to be in the
extended hours program on a daily basis, the fee should be paid at the beginning of the month along with the
tuition. Arrangements must be made in advance to ensure proper staff scheduling.

Late Departure: A fee of $ 10.00 per hour /partial hour will be due for students who are in/remain at school after
4:00 pm. The families who pay for this in advance with tuition shall pay $100.00 for the whole month. Parents
must call the school office if they cannot pick up their children on time. If your child is not in the Extended Hours
program, the fee should be paid at the time of pick-up.

Enrollment Contract

I agree to adhere to all responsibilities, procedures, and policies as outlined in the
school handbook and the tuition policies published each school year.
I also acknowledge that Iqra Academy reserves the right to refuse to release school
transcripts and/or achievement and standardized test results of withdrawing
students until all tuition payments, fees, and fines are settled, and all books are
