COMING TO PETERBOROUGH THIS SUMMER
On August 10-14, 2015 Junior Achievement
will welcome over 150 global youth business
leaders to the annual Next Generation Leaders
Forum at Trent University in Peterborough,
ON. These future business leaders from
across the globe will connect with leading
experts from business schools and industry
during a unique once in a lifetime opportunity.
Since 1969, 6,750 students from around the
world have attended.
Next Generation Leaders attendees are
individually selected as top performers in
the Junior Achievement Company Program,
chosen to attend for their high potential and
the opportunity to advance their career.
These students are planning to embark on
their post-secondary ambitions with specific
interest in business-related careers.
The Next Generation Leaders experience is
a unique blend of personal growth, practical
experience and confidence building. Delegates face real business challenges and develop
strategies in collaboration with their global peers, university faculty and industry volunteers.
Having developed success skills that are essential to making their dreams a reality, delegates
return to their schools and communities with a new perspective on what is possible.
Innovation is the economic engine that will
drive prosperity in Canada and around the
world. In today’s complex and fast-moving
economy, leaders must be more productive
and everyone needs to think more creatively
and be more entrepreneurial. The Next
Generation Leaders Forum will challenge
youth from around the world to use their
innovative spirit and knowledge to solve real
business challenges. The experience will
allow tomorrow’s leaders to gain real-life
understanding of the power of innovation,
and the inspiration to realize their potential.
2015 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Corporate and individual sponsors make it possible for over 150 youth from around the world to attend
and exchange insights and perspectives. There are a number of ways for you and your organization to
participate in shaping the future of our Next Generation Leaders as a Sponsor.
BUSINESS CHALLENGE LEAD SPONSOR $20,000
The Business Challenge is a central part of the Next Generation Leaders Forum. During this challenge
students are divided into teams and with the support of mentors, are tasked with a business problem,
which is provided by the sponsor. Over the 5 day forum, students act as a ‘think tank’ to develop
different industry solutions to the problem. On the final day, students present their ideas to a panel of
executives and a winning team is selected.
GALA SPONSOR $10,000
The gala is a celebration at the end of the Next Generation Leaders Forum. Delegates celebrate their
experience and receive their awards. The Gala offers a final opportunity for a closing ceremony with
a guest speaker.
LIGHTNING ROUND SPONSOR$2,500
While attending NGL Forum, the delegates receive the opportunity to hear from industry professionals
in a TedX style presentation. Each speaker has the opportunity to share their story, their ideas and
their insight. These sessions are available to be led by a speaker from sponsors and allow brands to
be showcased daily at forum.
OBSTACLE COURSE SPONSOR$5,000
This is a “Tough Mudder” type obstacle course that will allow students to learn about leadership
and team building skills. It’s one of the first activities the students participate in, allowing you
to have a direct impact on how they begin their NGL experience.
