Next, legendary Puerto Rican salsa singer Ismael Miranda will keep dancers on the floor with his highly-infectious fusion of classic and modern salsa styles meant to please both the new and the older generations of salsa fans. Fondly known as “El niño bonito de la Salsa” (the pretty boy of Salsa), the artist recently earned the Number 1 position on Billboard’s Tropical Songs chart for his tune “Son 45,” the title track from his latest album on which Miranda recounts through music and lyrics his 45-year career as a salsa singer. Raising the cabaret heat to fever pitch will be the charismatic Dominican front man Jose Peña Suazo and his La Banda Gorda – an all-star ensemble of the Dominican Republic’s best merengue musicians famous for their relentless, up tempo rhythms, sparkling piano runs, and blow-you-away brass section. Formed in 1994 by the veteran vocalist Suazo, the highly popular Latin music group is known worldwide for its diverse style and Caribbean flavor.
