Let’s celebrate LIFE and honor our survivors! We will
have a Survivor’s Tent, as well as awards for the Fastest
Cancer Survivor (Male and Female) and the Longest Cancer
Survivor (Male and Female), at the event. You can help by
fundrasing. You can run or walk as an individual or create
a team, but all can fundraise. If you register for the run at
Active.com, you may fundraise directly from there. If you
choose to register by paper, you have choices. Visit the
fundraising page at JubileeRun.org for all the information
you’ll need.

37th Annual
Join runners and walkers from across the River Region
as they participate in Montgomery’s oldest running
event. Jubilee’s Run for Cancer will be held on May 16,
2015, at Old Alabama Town and benefits the American
Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The event features a
competitive 8K run as well as a 1-Mile Honor/Memory
Walk for the entire family.
The race is conducted through the efforts of
dedicated volunteer employees and friends of Alfa
Life Insurance and Montgomery MultiSport. Visit

Friday, May 15
• 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Packet pick-up and late registration at
Old Alabama Town, 301 Columbus Street.
Saturday, May 16
• 6 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. at Old Alabama Town (All Races)
-- Packet pick-up for registered runners.
-- Day of race registration.
• 7:30 a.m. — 8K START
• 8:45 a.m. — 1-Mile Honor/Memory Walk START
Note: Awards Ceremony will follow the completion of the 8K
Race and 1-Mile Walk.
Race Information:
• COURSES: All courses will be well-marked, and safety
monitors will be stationed at all turns. View race courses
online at JubileeRun.org.
• SPLITS: Splits will be called at each mile.
• AID STATIONS: Water stations will be located along the
courses.
• TRAFFIC: Traffic control will be provided by the
Montgomery Police Department.
• MEDICAL: Medical support will be provided to assure the
safety of runners.
• CHIP TIMING: The 8K is a chip timed event. All awards are
based on race gun time per USATF Rule 245.1.
Entry Deadline:
Early registration entries must be postmarked by May 8.
NOTE: T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations
received by May 8. Late entries will receive shirts
while supplies last.
NOTICE: Due to insurance purposes, unregistered
runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles,
skateboards, rollerblades, strollers, baby joggers
and other wheeled devices, animals, and the
wearing of headphones are strictly prohibited in
the 8K race.
Race Packets: Race packets will not be mailed. They will
be available for pick-up May 15 (1 - 7 p.m.) at Old Alabama
Town (301 Columbus Street) and on race day, May 16, from
6 a.m. until 7:15 a.m. Packets will contain race instructions,
official race number and Jubilee Run T-shirts.
Race Numbers: Race numbers must be worn visibly on the
front of the runner for the duration of the race. Failure to
do so will result in disqualification.

available at the finish line. PLEASE, NO PERSONAL COOLERS
ALLOWED.
