FGCU LIBRARY STUDENT AMBASSADOR APPLICATION
AMBASSADOR REQUIREMENTS:
Commit to the program for the entire academic year (Fall and Spring)
Maintain a 3.0 (or greater) cumulative grade point average
Attend mandatory Ambassador training sessions and meetings (August 17-18 and monthly meetings)
- Meet with the Ambassador coordinator biweekly and complete evaluations and reflections
- Assist with information literacy research and instruction
- Identify and complete one or more special library projects each semester
- Must not have a disciplinary record or charges within the University judicial system
- Must agree to a fingerprint screening and background check upon placement in program
- Serve as a positive representative of FGCU, The Library, and themselves

Program. Since the FGCU Library Student Ambassador Program carries with it certain privileges and responsibilities, I hereby give
permission to the Library to access my academic and judicial records with Florida Gulf Coast University. Since this is a paid
position through Florida Gulf Coast University, I also hereby give permission to the University to conduct a fingerprint screening
and background check upon placement in this program.
