Housing
Convenience, friendship, social activities and educational programming are just a few of the reasons
students choose to live on campus at FGCU. The Office of Housing and Residence Life offers
several housing options to suit your needs. South Village residential community currently
includes Biscayne, Everglades, Osprey and Palmetto Halls. Each building houses first-year
students in single-bedroom suites. Each suite has two bedrooms that share a private split-style
bathroom. Amenities include a game room, computer lab, fitness center, kitchen, laundry facility,
lounges, study rooms and multi-purpose rooms. North Lake Village is our popular apartmentstyle housing. Located on an 80-acre lake, each apartment includes 4 single or 2
double bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. Residences include kitchen
appliances, cable TV connections and high-speed Internet. West Lake Village is the
newest addition to housing for upperclassmen offering apartment-style living
close to Gulf Coast Town Center.

Intercollegiate Athletics
FGCU offers a diverse and successful intercollegiate athletics program. The Eagles are a proud
member of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I, the Atlantic
Sun Conference (A-Sun), and the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA).
Athletic facilities include a 4,500-seat arena, baseball and softball diamonds,
lighted tennis courts, a state-of-the-art workout facility, a baseball/softball/
soccer clubhouse, soccer stadium and a beautiful aquatics center.
