Time Tracking: Manage Your Time Off
Time off can be requested two ways: through the Enter Time calendar and as
a Request Time Off. Instructions for both options are detailed below.

8. Enter the number of hours (or DAYS).
Time Off in Enter Time Calendar
Request Time off (next page) is the suggested method for all
Faculty employees.
Time Off in Enter Time Calendar is the suggested method for
employees with multiple positions with the college.
1. Click the Home page > Time worklet:

Faculty who are missing class time must include the TERM
& CLASS number(s) in the Comment field in the following
format:
TTTT-CCCCC

2. Click Select Week link.
3. Enter a date that is within the week you want to edit.
If you know who is substitute instructing for you, include
their name in the Comment field after the TERM-CLASS.
Contact your school office to ensure proper communication to
your students.
4. Click OK. Calendar displays for the week you selected.
9. Click OK.
5. Click inside the calendar on the day you want to enter time off. The Enter
Time window displays.
10. (Optional) Click on a previously created time off entry to make any
necessary corrections.
6. In the Time Type field, click the Prompt icon
and select the correct
time off type.
7. If you have multiple positions, in the Position field click the drop-down and
select the correct position.

Request Time Off

6. In the Comment field, enter comments as required.
Employees who have multiple managers should not use this method –
use the method from the "Time Entry" screen.

Click the Home page > Time worklet:

1. Click Request Time Off link.

2. Select day(s) off from the calendar. Click
Check your time off balances to be sure you have adequate
banks of time off. Time off balances show on left side of your
screen.
3. In the Type field, click the Prompt icon

Note: time-off submitted as separate request wil display on your time entry
calendar. To cancel entry that is pending approval, see below.
Note: for PT Faculty teaching TAG courses- be sure to pick the PT Faculty
Sick TAG time off type.
4. In the Daily Quantity field, enter the number of hours.
5. If you have multiple positions, in the Position field click the drop-down and
select the correct position.
Note: Your request will go to managers for all your positions regardless
of which you choose.

Correct Time Off: For All Approved Time Off
Cancel Request Time Off – Method 1
Click the Home page > Time worklet:
From the "Archive" tab in your Inbox (top right)
1. Click Correct Time Off link.
1. Find your Time Off Request and select it.
2. Locate the date you want to edit.
2. Click the Related Actions button
3. In Correction to Requested field, enter the corrected amount.
next to the Time Off Request, mouse
over Business Process and select Cancel
4. Click Submit.

Time Calendar that is Pending Approval

3. Submit the cancel request.
Click the Home page > Time worklet:
Cancel Request Time Off – Method 2
1. Click Select Week link.
2. Enter a date that is within the week you want to edit.
3. Click OK. Your reported time displays on the calendar.
4. Click the time block. An editable window displays.
5. Edit the details of the time block and click OK or Delete.
Note: for corrections, the week in which the time exists must be re-submitted
for manager approval. If corrections are made to a week that is pending
approval, the manager will only have ONE action to approve.
From your Time Entry Calendar:
1. Find the Time Off block you intend to cancel and click it.
2. Click the related actions
next to the time off request
3. Navigate to Business Process > Cancel
6. Click Submit.
Do not click Submit this Week until you have entered all time for
the week. Each submission will result in a separate manager
approval step.
7. Click Submit.
