About Your Green Party candidates: Fran Victory I have lived in Malvern for nearly 30 years and our four children were all state-educated here. I had a catering business in the town for many years and my husband Malcolm’s business is based in Malvern too. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Management, Women in Management, a qualified business coach and mentor and a College Lecturer. I have extensive experience of local government and previously represented the Chase Ward as Mayor on the Town Council. Jan Dyer I moved to Malvern from Malawi in 1999. When living in Hampshire for several years I was the first Green Councillor elected to Liss Parish Council and locally I have served on West Malvern Parish Council. After another spell of voluntary work in Tanzania where my husband and I founded an NGO with the remit of alleviating poverty through the creation of sustainable employment and livelihoods, I returned to Malvern and opened the Malvern Hills Repair Café in 2012. I have been an active member of the Green Party since the 1970s and am an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. John Blewitt I have lived in Malvern for five years and have been involved in the Green movement as an educator, author and campaigner for over twenty years. I wrote the best selling textbook Understanding Sustainable DeveIopment, 2nd ed(Earthscan, 2014). I am Chairman of the Malvern Hills Green Party, formerly a Friends of the Earth Co-ordinator in North Yorkshire, a Distinguished Fellow of the Schumacher Institute, and a core member of the think tank, Green House. I work at Aston Business School (Aston University, Birmingham) where I am Director of MSc Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
