to the 1st Gilwell Scout
Group Sophie. Sophie
is one of a number of

their wood beads this
year accross the UK, and
there will be many more
to come thanks to all
the new adults that have
been recruited into new
and exisiting groups.

Ontario, at Blue
Springs Scout
Reserve and all
Gilwellians are
invited to attend.
Blue Springs
Scout Reserve
which is located
just west of the
town of Acton
for the 63rd
Reunion The first
Ontario reunion
of Gilwellians
was held at
Blue Springs in
1952 in Ebor
Park. The Gilwell
weekend has
grown annually
in attendance
and currently
has almost 1200
participants.

The clock tower in the Camp
Square is named after Alfred
Macintosh who was Camp
Warden from 1945-1958. Mac
as he was fondly known, was
a great Campfire Leader. He
was keen to have a clock, high
