Music City BBQ Festival 28 & 29 August 2015 Nashville, Tennessee Merchandise/Crafter Contract The 7th Annual Music City BBQ Festival will be held August 28 & 29, 2015. The event hours are from 5:00 PM until 11:00 PM on Friday and from 11:00 AM till 11:00 PM on Saturday. Gates will open one hour prior each day. This is a paid ticket event and there will be security overnight. There will be approxamately 100 cooking teams, merchants, sponsor booths, children’s area, food and beverage vendors as well. Music will run during the festival. We are anticipating over 10,000 attendees during the festival. Neither the, City of Nashville, the Music Valley Merchants Association nor the MCBBQF make any specific guarantee as to the exact attendance. There are absolutely no refunds after the designated dates for any reason including but not limited to Acts of God. Visit our website at www.musiccitybbqfestival.com for up to date information. 1. By signing this contract the vendor agrees to pay the specified booth rental fee of $75 per 10x10 foot space. All Fees are due NLT 15 June 2015. All checks will be made payable to the MCBBQF. 2. All applications and appropriate fees must be turned in as NLT 1 August 2015. Spaces will be allocated on a first come basis.. Any applications received after the original deadline will be considered on a case by case basis. If not accepted your booth fee will be refunded to you. 3 Merchant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless: The Music Valley Merchants Association, City of Nashville, Davidson County, and MCBBQF and the staffs and boards of these organizations against any claim or action for any cause. Merchant agrees that they will be responsible for their own insurance under this hold harmless clause, which is made a part of this contract. 4. Merchant will submit a list of items to be sold to include prices to be sold at this event. It is understood that booth spaces will not be allocated until item lists and all other requested information is received. 5. Merchant understands that it is their responsibility to provide their booth, tent, trailer, etc. 6. Merchant understands that the Music City BBQ Festival name and logo are restricted trademarks. As such, any use of these is strictly prohibited without written consent from the MCBBQF Committee. 7. No smoking paraphernalia or any items deemed inappropriate or illegal by the State of Tennessee may be sold. 8. Tennessee State sales tax will be the sole responsibility of the merchant. A blanket Certificate of Resale will be presented to MCBBQF prior to the start of the event if applicable. 9. It is understood that submission of my application and item list does not guarantee a spot at this event. MCBBQF will notify merchant either via USPS or email of their acceptance and approved item list. Attempts to sell any other items not on the pre approval letter will result in termination of this agreement and the forfeiture of any and all fees paid. 10. Any violation of this agreement will permit the immediate termination of this agreement. 11. I understand that I am responsible for my employees and will ensure that their actions reflect favorably on the City of Nashville, and MCBBQF and their Board and employees. 12. I understand that if I cancel my participation in this event after 1 August 2015, all monies I have paid will be forfeited. 13.
