Tour of Mersey Valley - Technical Guide

Tour of Mersey Valley - Technical Guide
Welcome Message
On behalf of the Mersey Valley Devonport Cycling Club I extend a very warm welcome to all
competitors, team managers, mechanics, support staff and parents who have made the journey
to Tasmania for this round of the Women’s Subaru National Road Series and U19 Men and
Women Selection Races.
Our event continues to grow in popularity and gives our club an opportunity to showcase and
promote cycling in this region of Tasmania with the view of encouraging more young people to
try cycling as a healthy activity.
I trust that each of you will enjoy your time among us whatever your results maybe. Enjoy the
scenery and the country side as you endeavour to be the 2015 winner of the Mersey Valley
Tour.
Good luck to all competitors and thank you for supporting our event,
Wayne Bounday

Teams will be invoiced for any lost or damaged equipment. All radios will be pre-set and people
are requested not to alter the frequency unless directed by the Chief Commissaire or the Race
Director.
Competitor Information
Sign-On
All riders will be required to sign on before each stage 1 hour prior to race start and up to 15
minutes prior to race start. Sign-on will be located at the start line.

each stage start for media commitments.

One race number must be positioned in the middle of the back, and one of the LEFT side for ALL

Please be aware that at the discretion of Tasmania Police, riders off the back of the main
