Plans are well underway for the 2015 No Tie Dinner &
Dessert Party (NTDD) benefiting AIDS Services of Dallas
(ASD). Last year’s event drew more than 1,500 community
supporters and raised over $125,000 for the residents of AIDS
Services of Dallas. The 2015 event will be on Saturday,
March 28, 2015 at the Frontiers of Flight Museum.
As you may know, ASD provides affordable housing and
supportive services to 170 low-income and formerly homeless
men, women, children and families living with HIV/AIDS. For
our residents, housing is health care.
We ask you to consider joining us as we raise funds to
support the men, women and children living at AIDS Services
of Dallas. We must turn to people who care about those who
can’t always care for themselves. Many of the people we serve
come to us – literally -- with nothing but the clothes on their
backs. What you give helps provide a home, food and a
community that provides services and an understanding of life
with HIV/AIDS.

participation along with information about the No Tie
Dinner & Dessert Party and information about
AIDS Services of Dallas.

We are excited to announce the 10th Year of our No Tie Dinner &
Dessert Party! This annual event is a benefit to raise funds for AIDS
Services of Dallas (ASD), which provides housing and supportive
services for low-income and formerly homeless men, women, children
and families living with HIV/AIDS.
How does the event work?
On Saturday, March 28, groups of people across DFW will host social
gatherings – from backyard barbecues for as few as 10 people to formal
dinners for 30 or more. These socials can be casual or formal, large or
small, gourmet to potluck. In return for their host’s hospitality, guests
are asked to make a donation of $75 or more to ASD, of which ALL
proceeds go towards housing and supportive services for ASD clients.
Following your dinner, all hosts and guests are invited to Frontiers of
Flight Museum where more than 1,500 people will gather for an exciting
evening of entertainment, dancing, music, drinks and delightful desserts
donated by some of our community’s finest chefs. Fabulous items from
Dallas designers, restaurants and stores to luxury prizes and exotic getaways
will also be available for silent & live auction bidding that night!
Dinner hosts and sponsors will be invited to a VIP Sponsor and Host
Appreciation Party located in an intimate, exclusive setting – date and
location to be announced.

The No Tie Dinner and Dessert Party is AIDS Services of Dallas’ signature
benefit to raise funds for ASD’s supportive housing program that provides vital
services to low-income and formerly homeless individuals and families.
HOW THE EVENT WORKS
On Saturday, March 28, 2015, generous, fun people like you host dinner parties
for your friends. Each dinner guest is asked to make a $75 (or more) donation to
AIDS Services of Dallas. These funds help to provide housing and supportive
services to ASD residents. The more guests you have, the more money you raise
for ASD.

In order to ensure that set up is smooth for you, here are some things to keep in mind:

The Frontiers of Flight Museum has a kitchen for limited workspace and water, but they do NOT have
refrigerators or freezers.

The dock area for unloading your desserts and supplies is on the north side of the building. Volunteers
will be available on the dock to help you unload and for set up and break down of your table. There will
be carts available.

Access to the dock will be from 3:30 to 6:30 with final set up by 6:45. Guests start arriving at 7:00.

You may bring promotional materials and decorations for your table. If you would like us to provide
table decorations, please let me know.

If we are picking up your donation, please let me know what time you want us to arrive.

Plates, napkins, forks and spoons are provided by ASD.

You are provided 2 tickets to the event for guests (beyond your service staff). Please provide names to
sdelgado@aidsdallas.org or 214-941-0523 ext 105 so that they will be put on the list as ‘Sponsors

AIDS Services of Dallas (ASD) provides housing and supportive services to low-income and
homeless men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS.

Residents are empowered to live rich, meaningful lives by avoiding nursing homes, hospitals,
and traditional hospice placements. They are involved in the community at ASD by participating
in Residents Councils at each facility and serving as voting members of the agency’s Board of
Trustees.
