About the conference and awards dinner
The Federation is proud and excited to invite you to be part of the 2015 NSW Community
Housing Conference and Awards Dinner in Sydney.
Our two day conference to be held on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th May is the most
significant NSW event during 2015 for anyone involved in community and affordable housing,
plus homelessness and housing related support.
The conference will be the largest yet with around 450 delegates expected to attend from
across NSW and Australia.
Hosted by the Federation every two years, our conference has a solid reputation for delivering a
combination of high quality presentations, debates, workshops and practically-focused
masterclasses which are relevant to CEOs, Directors, asset managers, housing management,
homelessness, support and community development workers, tenants, academics, public policy
practitioners and more.
The conference awards dinner to be held on Tuesday 5 May is the largest of its type in NSW
and provides a great opportunity to network in a relaxed and friendly environment. Plus the
winners of the NSW Awards for Excellence in Community Housing will be announced and
celebrated during the evening.
For the first time, the 2015 conference will feature its very own phone app delivered through
ShowGizmo. The phone app will allow delegates to fully engage with the conference and your
organisation.

Community housing providers are not for profit managers and developers of low cost housing.
This is a dynamic, innovative and growing industry. As a result, organisations are expanding

About the Federation
The Federation is the peak industry body for community housing providers in NSW. The
Federation leads and coordinates the industry, represents its members’ interests, and provides
a wide range of good practice advice and resources to assist members to develop their
businesses. Through its Centre for Training in Social Housing, the Federation is the leading
provider of social housing training in Australia.
About the conference venue
The 2015 NSW Community Housing Conference and Awards Dinner will be held at Rydges
World Square.
Rydges World Square is conveniently located in the Sydney’s CBD. It is served by excellent
transport links and is only 20 minutes from Sydney International Airport. It also provides easy
access to Darling Harbour and Sydney’s vibrant cultural, entertainment and shopping districts.
Rydges World Square offers one of the newest and largest conference and event centres in
Sydney’s CBD. Its conference facilities offers 600 square meters of flexible space all contained
on one floor which can comfortably host 500 people.
Rydges World Square has world-class accommodation with free WI-FI in all our guest rooms,
bar, restaurant and public areas plus it offers a gymnasium and 24-hour valet parking.

The 1.8m tall, free standing mobile phone charging booth(s) can charge up to 16

The Exhibition Space is always the focal point of the conference. All the conference will be held
on one dedicated floor with booths ideally positioned close to the where the tea and lunch
breaks are served. This ensures plenty of opportunities to network with conference delegates.
Booths will be allocated on a “first in first served” basis, after Gold and Silver Sponsors’
preferences have been accommodated.

Terms + Conditions
SPONSORSHIP & BRANDING BOOKING PAYMENT CONDITIONS
1.
The Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% is applicable to all goods and services offered by
the Conference and all prices in this document are inclusive of the GST.
2.
Sponsorship will be allocated only on receipt of a signed Sponsorship & Exhibition Booking Form. A letter of
confirmation will be provided to confirm the booking, together with a tax invoice for the required amount,
payable within 14 days of the date of the tax invoice.
3.
Cheques should be made payable to the NSW Federation of Housing Associations.
4.
All monies due and payable must be received (and cheques cleared) by the Conference Managers prior
to the 27/4/15. No company will be listed as a Sponsor or Exhibitor in any Conference material until full
payment and a booking form have been received by the Conference Managers.
5.
CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event of cancellation, an Administration fee of 10% of the total fee
applies for cancellations prior to 27/4/15. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date. No
Sponsor shall assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of their sponsorship package except upon
prior written consent of the Conference Managers.
6.
Sponsorship monies will facilitate towards the successful planning and promotion of the Conference
in addition to subsidising the cost of management, communication, invited speakers, guide and
publications. Sponsorship monies are not expended on any entertainment incurred which is incidental to the
activities of the Conference.
7.
It is a condition of participation that company details may be shared with suppliers and contractors of the
event to assist with planning.
EXHIBITION BOOKING & PAYMENT CONDITIONS
1.
