Students entering 12th grade in 2015-2016 school year are required to have a Meningococcal booster. Please plan accordingly and schedule an appointment. These immunizations will be required at registration in the fall. OREGON TRAILBLAZERS MEETINGS Oregon Trailblazers 4-H Meetings will be held June 6th and June 27th at 10 CST at the Hamlet Fairgrounds. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Vacation Bible School will take place at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hamlet on June 9-12 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm and on June 13th from 2:00 5:00. There will be a cookout for the entire family on June 13th starting at 5 pm! Register now to join in the games, snacks, songs and fun at Camp Discovery. Purchase a copy today! SUMMER SCHOOL We only have a few openings left for Oregon-Davis Elementary Summer School. During summer school, teachers will work on basic skills necessary to be successful in their next grade level. Teachers will deliver engaging, hands on lessons, focusing on math and reading. We will offer a 1st/2nd grade classroom and a 3rd/4th grade classroom. Summer school will run June 8 through July 2, MondayThursday. Transportation will be available for all students living within our district, however we are currently only planning a morning and afternoon route. We will also have breakfast and lunch for all students attending. Summer school will start at 7:45 and end at 11:45. For those students who would like to stay longer, SCYC will be offering their traditional Summer School programing from 11:30-2:30. SCYC programming will run the same dates as Oregon Davis Summer School. There is a minimal cost of $20 for SCYC program. Textbook assistance for the 2014-15 school year has been applied to those that qualify. Notices for unpaid Textbook Rental have been sent out. Please make arrangements to pay these unpaid fees by June 8th. Payments can be made at the school or online with a credit card. PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED SPRING SPORTS BANQUET POTATO CREEK & LIONS STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL The Spring Sports Banquet will be announced n the very near future. Watch the website and listen for a call for further information! Field Day at the elementary is Monday, June 1st. this is an all day event. Volunteers need to check in at the elementary office. You will be assigned a station to assist the students. The festival will be June 12th & 13th. There will be a talent show on Saturday, June 13th. Start time is 10 am. Grades include: K-3rd; 4th-6th, 7th & 8th; 9th-12th; or groups up to age 18. Acts can be no more than 5 minutes long. There will be a cash prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each group. Sign up by June 6th.
