2015 NPCA and Teton County Sheriff’s Office K9 Training
The Teton County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit will be hosting the 13th annual NPCA K-9 narcotics, patrol, and bomb
seminar and certification. The K-9 certification is sponsored by National Police Canine Association (NPCA). This
three day seminar includes 20 hours of POST credit. The dates are May 12-14, 2015 (Tuesday thru Thursday), in
Jackson, Wyoming. The cost is $70.00. The NPCA seminar always provides ample time for hands on dog training,
problem solving and practical’s in all disciplines. If you plan to attend, have any questions, or need more

Chris Jakubin/ Head Trainer Ruidoso Malinois
Chris has 28 years’ experience in K-9. He was part of the Military Working Dog Program for over 28
years and has Department of Defense certified as trainer, supervisor and also was certifying agent for the
following disciplines: narcotics, explosives and patrol. He has experience preparing and deploying
numerous Detector Dogs for both domestic and over-seas contingencies. Chris has been involved with
the military’s green dog training program, handling detector dogs including explosive detector dogs in
support of numerous DV's and managing the explosive dog teams in support of countless special events.
Chis is currently a certifying agent for American Working Dogs Association and an instructor for NPCA
(National Police Canine Association). Chris has been an instructor for countless Government and Law
Enforcement Agencies and is invited to instruct at many seminars for patrol and detector dog handling.
He was Instructor at HITS Seminar 2014 for Explosive Detection Dog Independent Training, Patrol Dog
instructor NPCA National 2014, Scheduled for HITS Seminar 2015.
