The noise problem in urban areas (noise sources, noise maps, reduction of noise at
source, calculation and application of noise protection means, acoustic projecting;
The noise of the railway transport: noise calculation of trains and railway stations, noise
maps, noise formation, noise reduction of the rolling-stock, normative and technical
documentation, means and methods of the noise reduction, acoustic screens, acoustic
measuring;
The noise of the high-speed railway transport (up to 400 km/h): noise sources, noise
calculation, noise maps, calculation of means of the noise protection, calculation of dynamic
loads;
Aircraft noise: noise formation, noise propagation, lowering of the acoustic influence on
the population, airport noise monitoring;
Noise calculations and choice of the means of the noise protection when working out the
projects;
Noise of the stationary sources;
Acoustic calculations, acoustic measuring;
Noise influence on the human body;
Infrasound: formation, propagation, measuring, control;
Vibration in transport systems;
Noise control in ship-building;
Noise protection when gas and oil production and pipeline transportation;
Architectural acoustics;
Noise and vibration control measures: sound insulation, noise absorption, vibration
insulation and vibration absorption;

Noise and vibration reduction on the working places;
Foreign experience of noise control.
The conference will consist of plenary sessions and structured sections. Section
reports are submitted by participants of the conference. The number of section reports and
number of sections will be determined after receipt of the papers from the participants.
Estimated number of participants is more than 300 people. Estimated number of reports to
be presented during the conference is about 100. Proceedings of the conference will be
published prior to the conference.
An exhibition of the latest means of acoustic measurements, software, advanced
noise-reducing material and technical means of protection against noise and vibration will
be organized.
Leading national and international scientists, experts in the field of noise and
vibration are invited to the conference. The focus of the conference will be on the practical
aspects of noise and vibration control problem, as well as on the requirements of regulatory
organizations in the field of noise and vibration.
The conference program will include a number of training seminars. Participants of
training seminars will receive a personal certificate of on passing advanced training, as well
as an additional set of handouts, which includes an update normative-technical
documentation in the field of noise and vibration.
The registration fee is 550 USD. The registration fee includes participation in all
conference events, including a visit to the exhibition, participation in seminars, participant
folder, conference proceedings, coffee breaks, lunch, a stand-up dinner, cultural program
and others.
