NOMINATING GUIDELINES
You may not know what a BOB Award is, but you know a BOB Award nominee. The Best of the
Best (BOB) Awards will honor and highlight those in our area who show passion, creativity
and/or innovation resulting in a better educational experience. It’s not about the highest
scores or the best grades. It’s about who is engaged in the educational system and made a
difference! They are those special individuals and institutions who bring innovation,
dedication, creative resources and a caring heart to the educational community. They strive to
better educate themselves, our children, and our community. They are your colleagues, your
employees, your students, your employer, your teachers and they change lives! We are
looking for the student who established an effective study group. The inventive teacher who
did a great job reaching his or her students. The resourceful administrator who provided
needed items for a program. The school employee who greeted each student by name and
quietly encouraged each one. The thoughtful volunteer who gave up endless hours to serve as
a tutor. The local business or organization that supported education in a creative way. The
Best of the Best in our region! The possible BOB Award nominees are endless!
We need your help identifying those from your region worthy of this award. We hope you will
join us at The BOB Awards Banquet where we will honor your finalists and award the winners.
