Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam Ward 27, Toronto Centre-Rosedale City Hall, 100 Queen Street West 2nd Floor, Suite A5 Toronto, Ontario M5H 2N2 Tel: 416-392-7903 Fax: 416-696-4300 Councillor_wongtam@toronto.ca May 29 - 30, 2015 Congratulations on your 26th Exhibition Anniversary! I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone organizing and attending the People in Motion Disability Exhibition, hosted by the Canadian National Show Management. Congratulations on 26 years of helping Canadians live better lives! Welcoming people from across Canada to the event promotes unity among participants and engages all in innovative exhibitors and presenters on mobility, rehabilitation services, publications and more. The 10th Anniversary of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) is upon us in 2015, and as Toronto prepares to host the Pan American/Parapan American Games this summer, government, businesses, practitioners and individuals are discussing mobility and accessibility in more venues and more critically than ever before. The conversations facilitated by the People in Motion Disability Exhibition are thus integral to enhancing public awareness and to promoting a more accessible Toronto and Canada. As the Chair of the Disability Issues Committee for the City of Toronto, I would like to acknowledge and commend the organizers and volunteers whose hard work and dedication make the 2015 People in Motion Disability Exhibition a success. Your efforts contribute to an informed, empowered and inclusive Toronto. Congratulations on 26 years! I remain yours in service, Kristyn Wong-Tam Councillor, Ward 27 Toronto Centre-Rosedale kwt/sp
