Pine Bush has become

When you choose to shop
locally your money stays
within your community and
helps to strengthen the
economic base. In contrast,
shopping at big box stores
and large retail chains, a large
percentage of your money
leaves your community. Thus,
studies have found that
locally owned stores generate
much greater benefits for the
local economy than do
na#onal chains, as owners of
local businesses, themselves,
shop locally.
Local business owners are
not only knowledgeable
about the products that they
sell, but the customers, to
whom they sell, therefore
providing a higher level of
customer
service.
Local
owners, with much of their
life savings invested in their
businesses, have a natural
interest in the long-term
health of the community.
Further,
community-based
businesses are essen#al to
charitable
endeavors,
frequently serving on local
boards, and suppor#ng a
variety of causes. Local

business ownership ensures
that important decisions are
made locally by people who
live in the community and
who will feel the impacts of
those decisions.
So, when you shop at a
Pine Bush establishment,
dine at one of its restaurants
or eateries, or bring your
business to a Pine Bush-based
service provider, you’re not
only ge4ng the best bang for
your buck, but you’re pu4ng
back into your community.

it's benefits. In addi#on, RJ Smith
hosted our first Mixer of 2015 at his
race car shop and over 80 chamber
