Every Hero Has a Story at Pine River Library this
summer! As part of the 2015 Summer Reading
Program, you can earn stickers by reading, listening to someone read (or an audiobook), or by
being a hero in your community (one sticker for
every act of kindness).
Earn 10 stickers and receive a prize, plus a
chance to win one of our grand prizes!

Teen Summer Reading Program
There are three ways to earn entries
into the Grand Prize Drawing:

Teen Programs & Activities
(for teens in grades 6-12)
June 2– July 23
Yoga for Teens, June 11,
11am-11:45am
Try out a yoga class! This class is free
for teens in grades 6-12.
Garden Tuesdays, 11am-1pm
Join us outside, as we sweat through our
headbands and work to build, maintain,
and learn about our Community Garden and gardening in general.
Wacky Wednesdays, 11am-1pm
A multitude of Wackiness! These programs include everything from crafting
or cooking to making or writing. Anything goes!
D.C. SRP Thursdays, 11am-1pm
Throughout June we will be celebrating
everything related to D.C. superheroes.
“Marvel-ous” Thursdays, 11am-1pm
During the month of July we will focus
on Marvel-themed activities.
Teen Final Party
Thursday, July 23, 11am-1pm
Celebrate your Summer Reading successes, play some games, and find out
who wins the Grand Prizes. (Entry forms

Be A Hero: Share Your Story
June-July
What is your story? Share your experiences
by participating in our Heritage Hub Video
Project.
Library staff and volunteers will schedule a
one-hour interview with participants, to
edit down into a 5-to-8 minute presentation. The videos will be shared through the
library’s website and on the library’s
YouTube channel. All videos will also be
shown during
Heritage Week at the library’s Heritage
Hub Showcase.

This eye-filling sequel to “Frankenstein” is

One of the first films to lay the blame for
a world gone mad on atomic testing. First
-rate '50s sci-fi about giant ant mutations
running wild in the Southwest. An intelligent script, expert direction, and a memorable climax in the L.A. sewers make this
