The programme runs from 9am
to 12noon and includes tours of
Kindergarten, Lower and Upper
School, a talk on Steiner Waldorf
Education and a Q+A session
with teachers, parents and pupils.

Old Scholars’
Reunion
6th June 2.30pm – 11pm
This will be a great event and we
look forward to seeing as many
Old Scholars there as possible!
From 2.30pm till 5.30pm we
will have fun sporting activities,
tours of the school and a performance by the school choir!
Then a champagne reception at
6.30pm on the school lawn. At
7.30pm we will make our way to
the beautiful dining room where
we will sit down for a three
course meal and enjoy some gentle music. There will be a fantastic
line up of very talented musicians
and performers (including several
old scholars)!
For those who wish to relax in
a quieter room the long room will
be available as the perfect space.
We will have a fire in the rose
garden later on in the evening.

Colon Ride 2015
Charity bike ride for St Mark’s
Hospital Foundation: next week
my friend Steffi Cook is doing a
280-mile colon shaped bike ride
over 3 ½ days. Some of you may
remember that I did this ride last
year and Steffi helped me fundraise, so this year I am doing the
same for her. Please sponsor her
to help her raise a substantial
amount for St Mark’s Hospital

The Enchanted Garden Family Concert
Dear Parents,
Come and join us for a fantastic family concert! The Enchanted Garden
Sunday 14th June 2015 at 3pm in the School. To celebrate the arrival
from Italy of RSSKL’s new music teacher, Claudio Di Meo, and his partner Federica Nardacci, we are presenting an exciting concert of piano
duet music by Claudio and Federica and story-telling read by drama
teacher Mike Hadjipateras. The wonderful piano duet music is by Ravel,
Debussy, Grieg and Poulenc. There will also be a screen projecting
images which illustrate the stories. This concert will be suitable for
children of Class 3 and above. In the interval you will be able to enjoy
our delicious cakes and tea. Tickets: £8 for adults, £7 for concessions
and £5 for children. Tickets can be purchased on the door or from the
School reception.

Vivo D’Arte’s:
PARADE
at the Watford Palace
Theatre 10th to 13th June
2015.
Parade is a tragic, true story
of the trial and lynching of Leo
Frank, a Jewish man from Brooklyn who is wrongly accused of
murder brought to emotional and
theatrical life by acclaimed playwright Alfred Uhry (“Driving Miss
Daisy”) and Jason Robert Brown,
one of Broadway’s most promising young composers. Set in 1913
the musical deals with anti-Semitism against a backdrop of the
racially charged southern states of
America. Parade is directed by renowned director Lin Instone and
musical director Dan Cowtan.
Also performing in this production are Rudolf Steiner student,
William Warren-Meeks and
teacher Mike Hadjipateras.
Vivo D’Arte is a theatre arts
organisation which champions
young performers. Many of our
adult cast attend or have graduated from leading music conservatoires, acting schools and performing arts institutions. Under
