Event:
Our 7th annual race features a 5K run/walk, 10K run and Kids 1 mile fun run
Date & Time: Sunday June 7th 2015 8:00 a.m. 5K and 10K (Participant check-in begins at 6:30 a.m.)
Place:
Wente Vineyards - 5050 Arroyo Rd, Livermore, CA 94550
Course:
The 5K is a run/walk which is 50% paved and 50% dirt road. Entire course is stroller friendly.
The 10K is 90% dirt road and 10% paved road. Strollers are not allowed in the 10K. Both runs
travel through Sycamore Grove Park and are very flat with only one hill on the 10K. No dogs.
The Kids 1 Mile Fun Run (ages 12 & under) will take place at Wente Vineyards at 9:30 a.m.
Finisher ribbons, ice cream, and fire prevention material for all kids.
Participants: Our event hosts 1500 participants. There are nearly 100 volunteers, and over 200 spectators, who
help make our event a success.

Amenities:
All participants receive a Hook and Ladder t-shirt and Gift Bag. Sponsors are encouraged to
include a sample product, an ad or coupon good for their business, or other promotional item.

3 deep in each age group (M & F) 12 and under,13-17,18-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70-79,80+
(Special prizes for top 3 Male and Female race winners 5K AND 10K RUN)
Top 20 Male and Female both 5 and 10K receive a “TOP TWENTY” technical tee shirt
Special top 3 Firefighter overall awards both 5 and 10K
Great Raffle prizes eligible to all runners and additional tickets available for purchase
Beneficiaries: The event benefits- Injured and Fallen Firefighters, the Burn Foundation, and local charities in
the Tri Valley. The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation has helped many firefighters,
burn victims, and thousands of others through assisting numerous local charities. This is all
made possible because of your support of our main fundraiser: The Annual Hook and Ladder
Run.
The Hook & Ladder Run has grown each year and has been a huge success because of the support of our
wonderful sponsors. It is through your help that we have been able to raise over $180,000 in our first six years,
while providing a high-caliber run which has become an event that has showcased the Livermore and
Pleasanton communities, and their community spirit. Your potential sponsorship of this event will ensure its
continued success and help us reach our goal of raising over $40,000 again in 2015.
