Adult / Child Mother’s Day Flower Pots
Tuesday, May 5th 6:30pm-7:30pm
If you’d like something special to give as a Mother’s Day gift, or just a
treat for springtime, this will be a great evening. We have an activity
planned for decorating and personalizing clay flower pots and then
planting them with a variety of live, colorful foliage and flowers. Each
one will be a masterpiece and an original creation to take home.
Spring desserts will be served to keep with the theme.
Patio Container Garden
Wednesday, May 13th 7:00pm-8:30pm
This is a great chance to brighten your patio and tell everyone “I did it
myself!” Come meet Kathi Rose, Garden Designer and owner of
Kaleidoscope Floral Design, who will guide each of us into creating a
one of a kind container garden. We’ll use lush and unusual summer
blooming flowers and foliage for results that will be unique and beautiful. All materials will be provided including plants, soil and generous
faux terra cotta containers. Please bring a trowel and garden gloves.
Geneva Illinois
Wednesday, June 3rd 9:30am-3:00pm
Spring is such a beautiful time to visit Geneva, Illinois. The downtown
area on Third Street features blocks of boutiques, restaurants, and
gourmet coffee and chocolate shops, each oozing with charm and
character. The Little Traveler, originally purchased as a Victorian
Mansion, has been a landmark of Geneva’s shopping district since
1922. There will be plenty of time to shop and explore before meeting
at Wildwood for lunch, a local Geneva favorite. This will be a great
restaurant whether we dine inside amidst the elegance or enjoy the
outdoor courtyard overlooking the Dobson Place Water Garden
(weather permitting). It should be a day to enjoy!
