FORMS TO BE COMPLETED ONLINE – BY MAY 1st
CSS PROFILE Application – all students
File on-line at https://profileonline.collegeboard.com. Our CSS PROFILE code is 3434.
Complete all sections of the application, including supplemental questions. If you do not
have a social security number, please complete the section labeled “social security number”
with your HUID. If you are unable to complete the CSS PROFILE due to unreliable internet
access in your home country, you may submit a paper application found here.
Though the PROFILE is due May 1, it is best to submit in early April in order to have enough
time to send the rest of your materials to IDOC by May 1.
CSS Noncustodial Parent PROFILE - if applicable
Instructions for noncustodial parents will be sent to the student after the regular PROFILE is
completed.
Financial Aid Activity and Demographic Supplement – all students
To be completed by the student. Visit http://admin-apps.fas.harvard.edu/faads.html.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO IDOC – BY MAY 1st
Once you file your CSS PROFILE, you will receive a cover letter from the College Board that will
guide you through the process. DO NOT SUBMIT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO OUR OFFICE.
All materials need to be sent through IDOC.
Parents' 2014 Income Tax Return(s)/Wage Statement – all students
If the tax documentation is in another language, please circle figures for total income and
total taxes and translate them accordingly.
Student's 2014 Federal Income Tax Return/Non-Filer Statement – all students
Complete with all schedules and W-2s. If you did not file a 2013 Federal Income Tax Return,
you must complete and submit a verification of non-filer status, available here.
2014 Corporate or Partnership Tax Returns with schedules - if applicable
Letter of Special Circumstances – if applicable
If the information requested above does not accurately reflect your family's financial
situation, or if you believe a particular circumstance should receive special attention, we
suggest you write a separate additional letter and enclose it with the supporting documents
that you submit to the College Board's IDOC Service.
Expected Enrollment – if applicable
We will assume that you will be enrolled for the academic year (both fall and spring) unless
you notify us in writing that you will be enrolled for the fall only or the spring only for the
2015-2016 year.
STUDY ABROAD
If you are planning to Study Abroad in 2015-16, please submit the Study Abroad Supplement
directly to our office by May 1st for fall or full year study or by November 1st for spring study.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL MATERIALS DUE MAY 1st. If you complete your application by May 1st you
will receive your award letter through my.harvard.edu by July 1st. If your application is
incomplete at the deadline we will notify you what is missing. Once your aid application is
complete, the financial aid decision will be released to my.harvard on a rolling basis during the
summer. The awarding process takes time. We urge you to meet our deadlines in order to have
aid in place for the fall term.
