PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The goal of this program is to provide pharmacy technicians with the basic
knowledge and tools to assist them in providing quality care to their clients and to
update their knowledge and skill sets.
CE CREDIT
You must attend 90% of each of the educational session in order to receive CE
credit. No partial credit will be given.
ACPE Credit for Pharmacy Technicians
The South Carolina College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council
for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical
education.
This program has been approved for 4.0 contact hours (.04 CEU) for each session.
Attendance must be acknowledged at the registration desk upon arrival. The
Program Access Code will be provided at the conclusion of the program.
Participants must complete an on-line evaluation of the program within 30 days so
that their attendance data can be downloaded to the CPE Monitor System.
Participants may also print their CE statement, if desired. This is a knowledge
based activity. Initial Release date for AM session: 4/11/2015. Initial Release date
for PM session: 5/22/2015

Kimberly Keeney, PharmD received her doctorate of pharmacy from South
University School of Pharmacy in 2013. She currently works at Palmetto
Health Baptist Parkridge as a staff pharmacist.
Dr. Keeney has 20 years of experience as a pharmacist in the areas of retail,
hospital, automation, 340 B, and pharmacy auditing.
She is a member of the South Carolina Pharmacy Association.
