It is a construction of two horizontal cross beams holding panels. Aluminum beams are fastened to the roof supporting structure with roof hooks or special holders. You can mount most common solar panels in a range from 70 to 260 W onto PLAST BOX. PLAST BOX is filled with ballast (gravel, tile etc.), and for greater resistance to loads caused by wind. Quantity of ballast is determined by the height of the building, its location and nature of the surface on which it is installed. The advantage is that there is no need to drill holes in the roof insulation, which remain intact. Heavy-duty mounting system for flat roofs. 12 CONSTRUCTION BASIC MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR OPEN SPACES WITH GROUNDING INTO EARTH SCREWS Economical solution for open spaces Mounting system for open spaces by NWT company was developed as an offer of efficient and practical mounting solutions that enable usage of large-scale devices in open spaces for almost every landscape. Thanks to the self-developed steel structures grounded into the earth screws, we have reduced the overall cost of large-scale photovoltaic systems with maximum respect for the environment. Mounting system consists of a supporting steel structure in the variant with screw joints, or welded joints. Accessories for grounding invertors, sub-switchboards etc. form a part of steel construction. The surface of the steel structures is treated with hot-dip zinc. Design solution allows you to place two to five photovoltaic panels above each other, with horizontal or vertical orientation. Solutions can be adjusted according to customer requirements. Fast assembly and disassembly at low cost are advantageous. Steel structures are grounded by earth screws. Size of the earth screw depends on an accurate and detailed analysis of the area including geological research, tensile test, wind strength and snow amount of the particular area. The same is true of bio-waste. When planning the use of renewable resources it is necessary to maintain the ration between energy that goes into production and energy obtained. Basic types of biomass are agricultural waste biomass, specifically grown energy crops and plants, forest biomass and biodegradable waste. Biomass energy can be obtained by the direct burning, by biochemical processes or physical transformations. ELECTRICAL ENERGY FROM BIOMASS Energy potential of biomass can be used to produce clean electricity. Apart from agricultural waste and forest biomass, it is possible to produce electricity from a wide range of biodegradable waste. The production process is always a cogeneration – while heat energy is produced. BIOGAS STATIONS Treatment of organic, biodegradable waste coming from food manufacturing, sewage, primary agricultural production. Modern technology ensures high yield of biogas and electric generation efficiency. BIOMASS GASIFICATION Any combustible biomass can be gasified. Produced gas is burned in internal combustion engines and turbines with high efficiency of conversion to electricity. The technology can be delivered for power output from 200 kWe up to several MW. Biomass can be converted to pyrolitic gas or oil by process of pyrolysis. Oil can be used as the standard fuel to generate heat and electricity or use it as raw material in chemical industry. 40 BURNING WITH COGENERATION Boilers for combustion of biomass with output power up to 1MW can be supplemented by steam or hot air turbines, which produce electricity. This solution is suitable only for boilers in a continuous operation (water heating in systems of centralized heating, production of technological heat). OTHER NWT SERVICES Biomass burning is the most common and easiest way of producing energy from renewable sources. Wood burning is the oldest method of extracting heat. Currently, biomass is considered to be the most promising source of renewable energy and brings effects in the form of: »» reducing greenhouse gas emissions, »» reducing dependence on imports and consumption of fossil fuels, »» creation of new jobs, »» support of economy in the region. USE OF BIOMASS FOR HEAT PRODUCTION Boiler houses for central heating and hot water (CZT) They are particularly suitable for smaller communities with dense housing and available forest or agriculture biomass in its surroundings. Distribution of central heat distribution system is financially demanding but production of heating is more effective. Wood chips or packed straw can be used as fuel. Local biomass heating It is advantageous in areas with lower density of housing, where the installation of central heat distribution system is economically inefficient. Suitable fuel consists from pieces of wood or more precious fuel from biomass, i.e. pellets and briquettes. HEAT AND ELECTRICITY PRODUCTION FROM BIOMASS (COGENERATION) Larger boilers for biomass burning can be complemented by a technology for electricity production. These include mainly steam turbines, hot air rotating turbines or reduction. Cogeneration can be used profitably only for source of permanent operation (Hot water or technological heat). Motor-generators burning pure vegetable oil (e.g. rape type) belong to this category. These energy sources are particularly suitable for production of technological heat and electricity for production plants or farms.
