Because of our generous donors, families can afford to send their kids to an inspiring week of camp for just $25! Each summer, over 200 kids, ages 7-16, learn about the promise of Jesus Christ as they experience a variety of activities and make lasting friendships. Kids get to swim, tackle challenge courses, climb up the rock wall, perform talents and drama, make crafts, and play fun games. Our camp program is designed to give kids hope in a trusting environment where they can grow through the love of Christ. About Our Facility Our Programs Main Camp Outpost This one-week program is designed to encourage campers with the hope of Jesus Christ, build trust, and develop relationships in a safe place. Each day is structured with indoor and outdoor activity rotations, large group time, and cabin Bible talks. Activities include visits to the swimming pool, ropes and challenge courses, rock wall, outdoor fields, basketball court, indoor stage, indoor game room, and crafts room. These campers will live in cabins with their assigned cabinmates, lead counselor, and co-counselor. Outpost is designed to prepare older campers for leadership as possible future camp staff and staff at other Pittsburgh area ministries. Campers come for two weeks, developing their leadership skills as they learn from staff, the main camp and new Outpost experiences. After attending the session, qualifying campers will be invited to participate in the Practicum experience occurring during the last week of the 2014 camping season. This will allow them to serve, hone their newly acquired skills, and earn back their registration fee. Ages 7-14 Family Guidance is dedicated to providing wellequipped staff to care for our campers. Our Camp Director has a certification from the American Camp Association and our entire staff is devoted to enriching the lives of our campers.
