www.GenerationUCAN.com Recommendations on how to use Generation UCAN: Product mixes best with 10-14 ounces of water. Mix cold water and Generation UCAN powder in either a Generation UCAN mixing bottle or some other wide-mouth mixing bottle to start. Shake Generation UCAN and cold water for 20-30 seconds or until Generation UCAN and water are fully mixed. Blending the product also creates quite a smoothie treat. Some of our favorite recipes are below…. The product is starch bases so think along the lines of thicker consistency and a little chalkier than the consumer may be used to. Blending the product resolves most of the chalkiness and many consumers really like this format. How to use Generation UCAN: Product should be consumed 30 to 45 minutes prior to competition or workout. (Drink at normal pace). Consumer will feel “clean energy” with no spike and crash of insulin levels, no GI distress. Depending on how efficient the consumer is will determine length of energy received. Typical athletes are receiving no less than 2.5 hrs. of energy and many are getting 4-5 hrs of energy of on a single packet of Generation UCAN ranging from 110 calories to 200 calories. How athletes in some sports are taking Generation UCAN: Endurance Athletes – typically take non-protein Generation UCAN packets 30-45 minutes prior and recover on protein Generation UCAN packets within 30 minutes of completion of workout. Endurance Athletes 2 – Some endurance athletes find they like the benefit of taking between 1.5/2 Generation UCAN packets prior to competition or workout. Recovery would still be to take Generation UCAN protein packet within 30 minutes of competition of workout. Team Sports (Football, Hockey, Soccer, other) – For practice and for game days athletes will typically take a non-protein Generation UCAN packet 30 minutes prior to a workout or game, hydration with water is important during the practice or game, sometimes with sugar-free electrolytes, with recovery on protein Generation UCAN packets. General Consumer – Many consumers who use Generation UCAN benefit from the product’s ability to sustain energy for a long period of time and to enhance fat burn (for those looking to lean down). This group will often use the product as a meal replacement or afternoon snack. High quality calories in Generation UCAN and our unique carbohydrate SuperStarch leave the consumer feeling satiated. Take one packet of choosing before and after exercise or in place of a meal or snack. What to use during exercise: For making SuperStarch into a Gel: Some athletes create a Generation UCAN paste using very little cold water (2 to 3 oz of water).
