A $50 nominating fee for jumpers must be paid for jumpers to compete for yearend awards. Points
will start accumulating at the first show the jumper fee is paid. NO BACK POINTS WILL BE
ALLOWED. The nominating fee will follow the horse in case of transfer of ownership.

This entry is an agreement that the person entered with the owner, lessees, trainer, manager, coach, and
horse (1) that every horse and rider is eligible as entered. (2) that the owner and any of his/her
representatives will agree to the final decisions made by the management and hold the competition of the
DHJSC, the show location, their officials, the management, employees, and the agents harmless for any
injury or loss suffered during or in conjunction with the competition, whether or not such injury or loss
resulted directly or indirectly from the negligent acts or said officials, employees, agents, the
management, DHJSC or its show location.
Warning: Under Texas Law (Chapter 87, Civil Practice and remedies code), an equine professional is not
liable for an injury or to death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of
equine activities.

A person many become a member of DHJSC and/or register a horse at a DHJSC recognized horse show as long as
the payment accompanies the official show results. Payment must be in the form of a check. All points
accumulated go toward the DHJSC Annual Awards Banquet (membership required) after Year end Show.

ENTRIES: There will be a post entry fee of $5 per class if entered after Oct. 15th at
6:00 PM. ENTRY BLANKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS SIGNED BY THE
OWNER/AUTHORIZED AGENT, RIDER & TRAINER. NO NUMBERS WILL BE
ISSUED WITHOUT AN OPEN CHECK. CURRENT COGGINS MUST BE
PRESENTED TO THE HORSE SHOW OFFICE FOR ALL HORSES ON THE
GROUNDS. Please note barn affiliation on entry form and check.

Off of North US-75, Exit #30 toward Parker Road East, go 5.4
miles and turn left on FM 2551/Dillehay Drive. Farm ½ mile
on right.
FEES & REFUNDS: $20.00 office and awards fee will be charged for every horse &
rider combination. Once the show has started, proper notification of the scratch must
be made in the show office BEFORE the start of the class or classes being scratched
or else the class fee may be charged.
RETURNED CHECKS: A $25.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
GUIDELINES





It is the responsibility of the show management, exhibitors, trainers, and
spectators to conduct themselves in a civilized and sportsmanlike manner.
It is the responsibility of all trainers and exhibitors to be familiar with the
DHJSC Rulebook.
All children must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.
A $15 service fee may be applied to open checks not closed by the
conclusion of the show.
Excessive coaching by trainers, parents, guardians or other riders from the
in-gate is not permitted.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
STABLING: : None
SCHOOLING: Sunday for 2’ in Ring 2 until 9:30 or until 18” is finished
RESPONSIBILITY: Submission of entry to these shows constitutes an agreement to
the following: Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Treeline Stables and
DHJSC officials against any claim, demands, costs and expenses, including
reasonable attorney fee for the defense thereof, arising from the conduct or
management of Exhibitor’s business or its use of the premises or from any breach on
the part of Exhibitors of any conditions of this Agreement, or contractors, agents,
employees, guests, or invitees in or about the premises. In case of any action or
proceeding brought against Treeline Stables and DHJSC Management by reason of
any such claim. Exhibitor, upon notice, covenants to defend such action or
proceeding by council acceptable to owner. Exhibitor is responsible for his/her own
property and Treeline Stables and DHJSC Management is not responsible for
accidents, fire, or theft.
DOGS: There will be NO DOGS on the property that are not attached by a leash to a
person’s hand!!!
ATTIRE: SEI APPROVED HELMETS MUST BE WORN BY ALL RIDERS WHILE
MOUNTED. Riders must be properly attired – no chaps. Numbers must be worn
and clearly visible.
RIBBONS, TROPHIES and CHAMPIONSHIP: All classes receive a prize and 6
ribbons. All Divisions will be awarded Champion and Reserve ribbons using the
standard tally system: 10, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1. In the event of a tie, management will break
the tie by over fences points. Champion rosette and trophy will be awarded and
Reserve rosettes. (Champion add 10 points and Reserve adds 7 points)
FOOTING: Warm Up areas and Competition arenas are sand.
CHANGES: Management reserves the right to change, cancel or combine classes,
alter courses and do all things necessary to compensate for excessive or inadequate
entries. Divisions with less than 3 entries may be canceled.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions Sat. 7:00 AM to conclusion and Sunday –
7:00 am to conclusion of Show
