be issued on all horses not boarded at Holly Hill. Coggins
must be valid according to the laws of Louisiana.

AREA WITHOUT A HARD HAT. WHEN MOUNTED,

N.L.E.A. Rules for 2015 Year End Award
Rider must be a member of NLEA in good
standing to earn points for year end awards.
No points are awarded until dues are paid AND horse
must be recorded with NLEA.
Points are not final until approved
by NLEA Points Committee.

This is an open show and requires no club membership to enter.
All divisions are NLEA recognized divisions for year end point
accumulation. You must comply with all NLEA rules for point
accumulation and year end awards. Show management reserves the
right to cancel or combine any classes or divisions deemed
necessary. NLEA pts for yr end awards for hunter classes go to the
horse and for equitation classes go to the rider. Questions, please
contact an NLEA club officer or refer to web site NLEA.org
Awards: Ribbons 1st through 6th place in all hunter and jumper classes.
Champion and Reserve Champion deluxe ribbons in the all
hunter and jumper divisions with enough entries.
Hunter Divisions
Walk/trot division: Open to all beginner riders. Division consists of
three classes
Walk/Trot Hunter U/S, Walk/Trot Horsemanship;
riders may be asked to demonstrate additional horsemanship related
test(s) (USEF equitation tests) and Walk/Trot Equitation O/F (poles on
ground). Riders may cross enter into Poles On Ground Div only.
All NLEA points go to the rider.
Poles on the Ground Equitation: Open to all beginner riders who
have not jumped over fences 2'0" in classes at any show. May cross
enter into beginner hunter/equitation division only. Walk/trot only over
fences 4”. All NLEA points go to the rider.
Beginner Hunter and Equitation Divisions X-rails to be ridden at
the trot or canter: Open to all beginner riders and horses who have
not jumped over fences 2'0" or higher at any show. May cross enter
into Mini Hunter or Short/Long Stirrup but not both. The flat class
will be a walk/trot only class.
Mini-Stirrup Hunter and Equitation Divisions: trotting or cantering
X-rail to cantering out over an 18" vertical. Open to either beginner
riders or horses that have not jumped over fences 2"3" or higher at
any show. May cross enter into Beginner Hunter. Fences 18”.
Short / Long Stirrup Hunter and Equitation Divisions: 18"-2'0"
Open to all Junior and Adult Amateur riders Short:12 years of age or
younger and Long 13 years of age and older who have not shown
over fences 2’3” or higher at any show.. Include birth date on entry
Oxers not allowed. May cross enter into Beginner Hunter. ..
Pre-Child/Adult Hunter and Equitation 2'3" Open to all junior and
adult amateur riders. Riders may not cross enter into classes where
fences are 3'0" or higher at this show.
Schooling Hunter Open to all horses/riders. Fences 2’3”or 2’6”.
Riders must indicate fence height desired on entry form.

Non Pro Equitation O/F - Open to all Jr/Am riders. Fences 2’6”.
Modified Child/Adult Hunter and Equitation 2'6"-2'9" Open to all
junior and adult amateur riders. Riders may not cross enter into
classes where fences are 3'3" or higher at this show.
Children/Adult Hunter and Equitation 2'9"-3'0" Open to all junior and
adult amateur riders. Riders may not cross enter where fences are 3'6"
or higher at this show
Working Hunter 3'0" OR 3’3” Open to all horses and riders. Rider
must specify desired fence ht on entry form..
JUMPER CLASSES
Jumper courses at each level to consist of USEF table 2.11.b, table
2.11c and table 2.1a in this order:
USEF Table 2.11.b.9 (jump off round class) If rider goes clean in
the first round upon an audible signal and without leaving the ring
starts the designated jump off course. Least faults, fastest time wins.
First round may also be timed making it possible to break the ties of
horses with four faults.
UESF Table 2.11.C (power and speed) Rider must jump first round
clean and upon crossing the finish line of the power part continues immediately to the jump off course, the speed part. Time starts as the rider
crosses the finish line of the initial course.
USEF Table 2.1.A Open speed class.
Level 0 2’3”-2'6" Open to all horses and ponies that do not jump
higher than 3'0" at this show.
Level 1 2’9”-3'0" Spreads to 3'0"-Open to all horses and riders.
Level 2 3’0”-3'3" Spreads to 3'3"-Open to all horses and riders.
Level 3 3’3”-3'6" Spreads to 3'6"-Open to all horses and riders.
Level 4 3’6”-3'9" Spreads to 3'9"-Open to all horses and riders.
Multiple horse / rider combinations are allowed.
Classes with two or more riders will receive NLEA year end class award
points and have championship and res champion NLEA pts awarded.
GBPC will run the class if there is only one entry in the class.

Any Rider / Horse combination entering at least 2
classes in either our Hunter Show on Saturday or
our Jumper Show on Sunday will receive a $10 reduction in their XC schooling fees for that day.
Riders are responsible for entering only classes and
divisions horse and rider are eligible for. NLEA may deem
rider/horses to be ineligible and they will forfeit NLEA pts.,
ribbons and awards.

GBPC is not responsible for riders and horses entering

I understand this is a high risk sport and that I am participating at my own risk. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this show, I agree to hold Gator Bayou Pony Club, The Marty Company, Holly Hill Farm
and North Louisiana Equestrian Association , their officials, agents, employees and officers harmless from any claim, loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly by the act of this horse while in or upon the
show premises or grounds or any entrance there to, and I personally assume all responsibility and liability from such claim; and I further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this horse by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and for any claim for damage or injury to the horse, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury be caused by negligence of Gator Bayou Pony Club or any other aforementioned parties, or by the
negligence of any other person or parties, or any other cause or causes. I hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned harmless from any and all expense (including legal fees) by reason of
the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself or on account of damage to
property, arising out of or in consequence of my participation in this show, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to person or property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons. I am fully aware that all dogs are the responsibility of their owners and I am fully aware of and understand RS9:2795.1 which states that an equine activity sponsor is not
liable for injury to or the death of a participant in equine activity from the inherent risk of equine activities. I also understand that dogs are the responsibility of their owners and are to be restrained on show grounds either by cages or six foot
leashes but may not be tied in the stabling or show areas. I also understand it is the responsibility of the rider / guardian to enter only classes for which the rider and horse are eligible under NLEA and USEF rules.
