In this workshop, professor Alberto Rojo (Physics) will join Kathy Moore (Chemistry) and
Laila Guessous (Mechanical Engineering) to share practical tips for improving your
teaching and classroom interactions. Professor Rojo engages his students through creative
demonstrations, having received recognition for his “Walk on Water” and “Flight Crew
Physics” (of dunking a basketball) videos.
We encourage you to join us in the discussion and share your experiences and suggestions for
teaching.
This workshop will focus on:

Tools and techniques to improve your teaching practices
Sharing national findings about teaching practices in STEM
Fostering discussion of experiences and suggestions for teaching
