Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) is a well‐established NGO delivering Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health services through‐out the country via centres, mobile outreach teams to remote areas and social marketing. It works in partnership with Marie Stopes International UK (MSI), a global social business providing reproductive health services across the world with a mission of ensuring individual's fundamental right to have children by choice not chance. Advocacy Officer ‐ 1 (based in Kathmandu) The Advocacy Officer will work to implement advocacy plan for the targeted projects from task shifting to developing innovative business model to increasing access and uptake of Family Planning. The Advocacy Officer will mainly work closely with project managers to develop, implement and evaluate project’s advocacy activities. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Sociology or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in: Coordinating advocacy projects with the Government and multiple stakeholders Working with directly in advocating policy into practice in SRH field Assisting in handling project activities Involvement in reporting / collecting client data A good understanding of the issues of women’s reproductive services and rights Experience in coordination working with women groups/ client mobilization 2. Research Manager ‐ 1 (based in Kathmandu) The Research Manager (RM) is responsible for all research, monitoring and evaluation activities for Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) an implementing partner for Marie Stopes International. The RM will work closely with SMT members, Regional Research Advisor and other key stakeholders to ensure the attainment of SPN’s goals and objectives and the compliance of SPN to MSI’s global RME standards, as well as fulfilment of RME commitments to donors. Minimum Requirements: Masters Degree in Public Health, or equivalent At least 3 years’ working experience in Research and Metrics, ideally within the Reproductive Health sector Adequate knowledge of computerized research software e.g. SPSS, advance research software and Microsoft office programme. Preferably a qualification in statistical analysis. Demonstrated capabilities of producing results when working with individuals with varying levels of expertise Experienced in managing relations with a range of partners including governments, donors, other NGOs and the private sectors Proven ability to train others 3. Medical Officer ‐ 2 (Attariya and Surkhet) The Medical Officer is responsible for successful implementation of SPN program in Nepal. S/he ensures effective client screening, maintain clinical procedures as per SPN/MSI medical protocol and National Medical Standard to ensure the high quality care services at Sunaulo Parivar Nepal Clinics and training of team members and liaison with external stakeholders. Minimum Requirement: MBBS 3 years of professional work experience in the field of Family Planning Trained on CAC, minilap and vasectomy will be an advantage Proven ability to train others 4. Mobile Nurse – 1 (based in Kathmandu with frequent field visits) The Mobile Nurse is responsible for ensuring staff gaps in various districts of Nepal, provide trainings to staff as per SPN/MSI clinical standard, provide clinical services as and when required as per SPN/MSI and government clinical standard. Minimum Requirement: Staff Nurse registered in Nursing Council CTS trained Trained on IUD/ SBA and CAC is preferred Able to travel frequently to all districts of Nepal where SPN is working within short notice both in outreach and clinics.
