iPOD COMPATIBLE PIONEER AUDIO SYSTEM UPGRADE
Scion now offers the iPod experience, with a Pioneer AM/FM/CD head unit with iPod
control now available as an upgrade for all 2006 and 2007 Scions. These are the first
cars in their class to integrate track, artist, and album information from the iPod
into a one-line display on the head unit's screen—making your stereo an extension
of your iPod. Connectivity is achieved simply by plugging in your iPod to a connector
cable. The result is outstanding sound quality through the car's stereo system,
while continuously charging your iPod. You control your iPod with the head unit, or
through audio buttons conveniently located on the steering wheel.

BAZOOKA SUBWOOFER
When you’re ready to test The Low End Theory, look no further
than Bazooka Mobile Audio. Scion proudly offers two types of
amplified Bazooka subwoofers, both with dual voice coils and
100 watts of power.
In the xA and xB, the legendary 8” Bazooka tube fits conveniently
into the cargo space.
For the tC, Bazooka created a specially designed enclosure
that hugs the contours of the right rear cargo wall. The 10”
woofer definitely gets down, providing thunderous lows without
sacrificing storage space.

In every Scion, each speaker is tuned to match the specifications
of the Scion Sound Processor. With SSP, you can give your music
a different sound and feel at the touch of a button.

EASTER EGGS
The Pioneer head unit features a few Easter eggs, or hidden
special features, that you can access through the “Secret Mode.”
To access the “Secret Mode,” do the following.
1. With the head unit on, turn the key from the ACC position to the off position.
2. Press and hold MUTE button, and turn the key to ACC. A horizontal line in the LCD
display will start flashing.
3. Within 15 seconds use any of the sequences below to customize your head unit's
display. Repeat the sequence to return to the original screen.

Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and
in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal
collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a
severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To
decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the
middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put
objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing childseat
in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death.
