The Next Step ANNUAL WTOS FUNDRAISER Covenant Presbyterian Church is one of the founders of West Texas Organizing Strategy. Since 1999 when the organizing committee was founded, WTOS has worked hard to improve the lives of families in our city and the state. Through faith and action we are making a difference by addressing social justice issues that affect our church families and the community where we live. The annual fundraiser for the WTOS Community Sourcebook and Reference Guide begins this week. There are two ways to help: 1. Donate funds toward the $1,500 goal for a 1/4 page Covenant ad. This is a way for the church to be intentionally visible in Lubbock. All of us together can make this easily doable. Make checks payable to Covenant Presbyterian with a memo of “WTOS ad.” 2. Buy an ad for your own business. The cost is tax deductible as an adver tising expense. Make checks payable to WTOS with a memo of “ad book.” Gifts should go to the church office or be placed in the offering plate. Deadline for all contributions is November 10th.
