ROMANS 12:2
2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good,
pleasing and perfect will.
Dear Friends,
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you this weekend. We are thrilled that you have
taken time out of your busy Fall schedule to come to camp! As we say hello to cooler temps and
shorter days, we also get to view the beautiful canvas in nature that only the Master Creator could
paint. Colors are bursting forth from the trees and you can actually smell Fall in the air. As you take
in all there is to offer this weekend, may your walk with the Father be deepened as we are all
TRANSFORMED by HIS word, HIS love, HIS beauty, and HIS people.
Read this Packet
This packet is loaded with information designed to be a helpful resource for you and your family as
you prepare for your time at SpringHill. Please take time to read through the materials provided
and pray for your time at camp.
Questions
There’s a lot of information in this packet. If you have any questions at all, please contact our
registration team. They can be reached during business hours at 231.734.2616.
We’re looking forward to a great experience together!

HELPFUL HINTS FOR GUESTS
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please enter through the Main Entrance off of 95th Avenue, follow the signs toward the Welcome
Center and park. Registration is from 6:00 – 7:45 pm in the front of the New Frontiers Dining Hall.
Housing will be available for move-in and posted outside the Dining Hall at 1pm. If you choose to
arrive early, you may get settled in and return at 6pm to register. Please note that there will be no
meals served or activities open prior to the published schedule.
During registration, you will be given a booklet with an updated schedule and a wristband to wear
throughout the weekend. While you’re in the Dining Hall, you may also sign up for breakout
sessions and 2 activities.
Once you have registered, you may drive to your housing area to get settled in for the weekend.
After you have moved in to your housing, please park your vehicle for the weekend and plan to
walk to the various activities and programs.
MEALS AND SNACKS
During registration, a light snack is provided for you to enjoy in the Dining Hall. However, if you
desire a full meal on Friday night you can find fast food just a few miles away. Evart is also the
home to several local restaurants you can enjoy. A late night snack will also be provided around
9:45 at camp as well. You will not walk away from the weekend feeling hungry!
STUDY THE MAP
With more than 900 acres of property, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself and your group with
the camp’s layout. You will also find camp maps, as well as new directional signage around camp
to help you get to where you’re going.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
There is so much to do at SpringHill! Unfortunately, you can’t do it all in just one weekend. Before
you sign up, think about which breakout sessions or activities are most important to you, then sign
up for those. Activity and Breakout signup is held on Friday from 6-7:45pm and 9:45-10:45pm in
the Dining Hall, with a limit of two activities and one craft per person. You may sign up for
additional activities and crafts on Saturday beginning at 7:45am in the Welcome Center.
ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS
That’s the best way to get started. Ask lots of questions, we will give you lots of answers. We want
you to have a stress-free weekend where your only responsibility is to have a blast and be
transformed. Let us know how we can help you!
FOR YOUR CONVIENIENCE
There are two designated smoking areas. The white gazebo near the outside amphitheater located
across the New Frontiers Courtyard and the covered benches by the skate shed located on the
New Frontiers Extreme Skating Park. Thank you for not smoking anywhere else on camp.

OUR SPEAKER AND BAND
DR. ROSEANNE COLEMAN
Franklin, TN
RoseAnne helps women find their place in the story of God. In
addition to the Bible, she uses humor and her own life experiences
to draw in a crowd. “I don’t come as the expert,” she says, “I tell you
about what hasn’t worked in my life. I tell you about what Jesus has
done and continues to do for me.”

JENNIE WELLSAND
Indianapolis, IN
At age sixteen Jennie Wellsand realized what it meant to be saved by
grace. While raised in a few different churches growing up, Jennie
landed at a nondenominational church in Valparaiso, Indiana in 2002
and began taking guitar lessons. Worship leaders from her local
church took Jennie under their wings and taught her how to not only
play acoustic guitar, but to sing strong melodies and find harmonies
as well. Since 2002, Jennie's been leading worship at multiple
churches in Valpo and now attends the Valparaiso Nazarene Church.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS
WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND
Kathy Long
Hands are an extension of who we are. We use them to communicate, clean, caress, connect, or
carry out daily tasks. What has God given you? David had a slingshot; Dorcas had her needle and
thread. Using scripture, personal stories & practical insight: this session will provide you an
opportunity to consider what God has put in your hand.

Michael Perry
Come take a look at the familiar verses of Genesis 1-3 and what they mean to us today. You will
look at the significance of the creation story and what it tells us about God & the world. See how it
laid the foundation for the rest of the redemptive story. It will be informative, inspirational and
practical. Please bring your bible with you.

FORGIVENESS & LETTING GO
Jami Patterson
Maybe you are not sure what it means to forgive. Maybe you do not know how to move past a
deep hurt that was done to you. Perhaps you need to seek forgiveness. Come hear what God has
to say about forgiveness with a story that is wrapped around the very subject. Only, I was the one
that needed to be forgiven.

LIVING IN THE SHELTER OF THE MOST HIGH
Heather Perry
Heather will share God’s faithfulness through her journey of chronic illness and medical crisis. A
year ago, she was in a coma and her family was told she was dying. May her story encourage you

MARGINS
Jason Hoffer
You wouldn't read a book without margins, so why do we live our lives without them? Unpack
biblical stories that speak of the blessings of Sabbath. See personal experiences of what happens
when God's creation does not submit to the creator's design, and how we need to receive and live
out the gift that God's Sabbath was originally intended to be.
