Sam Hudson—602-565-1672/samhudson@aol.com Dawn Hudson—602-565-2475/cdawnhudson@aol.com All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. 36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet. Mom’s Bible Study - First and Third Tuesday of every month from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. (First Tuesday at coffee shop or member home, and the Third Tuesday in the EEC). Join us for a morning of fellowship and discussion with moms of children with learning differences, spectrum disorders, ADHD, medical fragility and a variety of special needs. Join Shoebox Ministry during the month of October in making this special event a success by donating new and like new undergarments for the Valley’s estimated 15,000 homeless and 650,000 working poor. Each morning as we dress we take for granted that when we open our drawer there will be clean undergarments awaiting us. This is a comfort that thousands of men, women and children don’t have. Our goal is to collect 8,000 pieces and distribute them to 40+ Valley agencies serving those in need. Brighten the day for someone in need by picking up an extra package of underwear, undershirts, socks or bras. Items are needed for men, women and children; the greatest need being for men. Shoebox Ministry is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing toiletries & skivvies to the homeless all year. Reach us at 480-905-1610 or laura@shoeboxministry.org Undergarments are the number one clothing item needed by the homeless. AFRIZO music group from Daystar University in Nairobi, Kenya is coming.
