Many children on the autism spectrum and those having difficulty with social
cues and appropriate behaviors are welcome to attend these wonderful monthly
sessions.
This has become a meaningful offering for our community and God's fingerprint
is evident on what we are providing not only to the children with special needs,
but their parents and families. This is an opportunity for students to make
friends, learn appropriate social cues and behaviors, all in an environment of
fun and support. At the same time, parents receive much needed respite and
siblings have opportunities separate from the intense shadow of care required
by their special needs brother or sister. Peer mentors work alongside certified
teachers and a behavior specialist during dinner, games, and activities. Groups
are divided by gender as well as age and ability level to maximize learning
opportunities. (Program is extensive ranging from non-verbal through high
functioning.) Space is limited. Register online at www.jillannecastle.com or
contact Melissa Forney at melissaf@mtviewpres.org or at 998-1085x135.
The Gift and Mission Marketplace will be bursting at the seams with holiday music,

tole-painted items, kids’ items, baby gifts, embellished antique bottles, journals,
homemade pickles, and many other great items to make your holidays complete!
Your favorite vendors and new artists are waiting to welcome you!
We hope that you are busy crafting a few special items to DONATE to the Mt. View
Women’s Ministries Craft Table. If not, it’s not too late to start! Gather a few
friends for coffee or lunch, and enjoy Mt. View’s warm fellowship as you create
projects to sell for our mission work. Pinterest (on the internet) is a great place to

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the
Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead and buried. He descended into hell. The third day
He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sitteth on
the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come
to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion
of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the
life everlasting. Amen.
